Every time a Republican woman or black won a race the media would call them by name, announce the win and move on.
Every time a Democrat woman or black won they would go on and on about how now women, lgbtqrstuv, black issues will truly get the attention they deserve. And if the woman was gay that became the focal point. The first description of every one of them focused on any wedge issue they could find rather than the actual issues they ran on.
Sharice David's for instance. They went on and on about her being a dyke and an Indian as if that has any relevance on the issues America faces.
Then another was proclaimed the first open bisexual like that fucking matters to anyone.
It is just really sad where identity politics has taken us.
