Law school students traumatized by case law!

It isn't a Constitutional right, shit head. That's why it was sent to the states. My God, you're stupid.
WRONG!
The SCOTUS ruled in 1973 that it IS a constitutional right and 49 years of settled precedent reinforced that....over... and over...and over.
Just because a few illigitimately appointed judicial activists ruled otherwise last year does not erase The High Court's rulings from the last half a century.
Fantasy much retard?

No such thing as "settled law". They were nominated by the President and approved by the Senate. Fuck you and every trash commie that looks and smells like you. Suck on it.

It was pretty valid. It still is. And I love the fact that it works both ways.

And it will be working next year thanks to the independent state legislature theory, that won't be helping any state legislatures.

Youre right. There is no settled law. Keep that in mind when Liberals control the court, and conservative right after conservative right finds the trash can.

Thanks for the reminder.

You do know that Heller V DC was ruled incorrectly right?

Yeah.

I can’t stop laughing. This is too freakin’ funny. Law school students need counseling over some recent SCOTUS decisions.

Just what this nation needs. A bunch of legal cupcakes going out into the world to represent us in courts.
That is funny. Instead of storming the Capitol and trying to hang a VP or two.

What the heck is the matter with kids, nowadays?

Sometimes, the SCOTUS fucks up.

Heck. Even golden glove fielders sometimes make an error.

Yeah.
Actually, it was spot fucking on.

Thought you should know. 👍

Whatever. Yaaaawwwwnnnn.

We'll see what a Liberal leaning court has to say about that. Now that its been determined there is no settled law.

That both ways thing can be a bitch.

We had liberal leaning courts. That’s how they made up a “right to abortion” in the first place. And it was precedent.

But it’s always within the power of the court to correct past mistakes. Especially the Supreme Court. You do know that Plessy v. Ferguson was “settled precedent” for even longer than Roe v. Wade was, don’t you?

I sure hope it’s ok with you that Plessy was overruled.
That both ways thing can be a bitch.
Conservatives are finally coming out from that dark night. I hope you enjoy your turn.
😎

All Republican congressional candidates and whatever sideshow freak the GOP runs in 2024 for POTUS is now going to have the stink of this corrupt SCOTUS and it's bullshit, radical, judicial activism on them as a reminder to voters "you vote for this crap and our country goes BACKWARDS!"
It's going to be a rout!
A blue tsunami!
Much like last years midterms when voters sent a powerful message on how unpopular the Dobbs ruling was.
Only times ten next time.

Their professors lied to them. Their parents may be horrified, too, but for different reasons unbecoming of what it takes to keep the Constitution making the average man free from overbearing kings, monarchs, kingpins or oligarchs. The trouble with the oligarchy concept of communism is that while it is expensive to pay for a monarch, a country of a hundred oligarchs is far more expensive as 100 times the cost of supporting one President. The "system" of one party helping itself to the quasi-illegal voting coup of not making sure that each person gets one votes leads to the egregious practice of allowing unknown persons with no identification confirmation voting up to 30 times apiece, letting unknown people sending in a thousand ballots apiece can throw elections and producing an easy to overthrow the Constitution with the winner taking all. With a scheme to fool people into thinking the world will end if wealthy companies that benefit only one political party can just give the amount of money it takes to make the government subservient to their wealth-building autocracy supported by an actual oligarchy of a small group of people, each of which requires a king's ransom to satisfy their personal greed for total power over one business uberalles, and in the case of America, Environmentalism that has been hyped up to demand all the nation's assets rather than allowing others to prosper by means of a simple-to-rule government in which oligarchs of one party drums the other into the ground with a weak flag of you-haftas inflicted on people who had other ways of earning a living that has nothing to do with fake demands of experimentalism into making the environment the only goal of wealth production at the expense of the poverty of all to pay taxes that wind up in the belly of the environmental beast, and not inventors and people who work hard to earn a place in the American dream, which miraculously disappears after unbearable taxes are levied on rich and poor alike, except for the oligarchs who get something for nothing and a slice of the pie that equals the number of oligarchs who must be coddled fiscally while middle class become slaves to the state. Needless to say, the Constitution must be shredded to accommodate the new royals with aristicratic titles. The church has to be ridiculed into oblivion so the oligarchs don't have to politely serve the public, as they become the deciders of their little piece and spiel of the Environment that is lied to be the end of the world.

Thank God for President Trump.
If President Trump were a man of the law he would have pardoned Julian Assange. That he actually praised Assange in the campaign leading to his election makes it that much worse. He's not a man of the law. If God were POTUS, He would have pardoned Assange.

When you overrule something it means the original decision was not correct.

Everbody should relax. These SCOTUS rulings, while for the most part horribly regressive, are the best gift this SCOTUS could have given to the BIDEN 2024 campaign.
Especially if Trump winds up being the GOP nominee.
Just like we saw last November the reek of the little golfboy on any candidate or policy is like the proverbial kiss of death.
The majority of the U.S. electorate does not support regressive, Republican, conservative policies.
We saw that in the midterm election last year when voter backlash to The Dobbs decision reduced the much anticipated "red tsunami" to an anemic trickle.
These SCOTUS rulings are going to be a heavy stone around the necks of any and all Republicans on ballots in 2024, and if Trump makes it through the primaries it'll be more than that.
More like a neon sign screaming to voters "I AM OUT OF TOUCH WITH YOUR VALUES AND PRIORITIES SO DON'T VOTE FOR ME!"

Outside of your Cult, it is a center right country.
Congruous with the Bulk of this court's decisions.

Your advice is based entirely on your ignorant and biased “thinking.” Therefore, it is valueless.

What exactly is legally wrong with a decision which seeks to affirm that, under our Constitution, equality under the law requires us to be colorblind?

"Colorblind" is now racist.
One is now supposed to see color and act accordingly.

You're so used to actual judicial activism you don't recognize Constitutional decisions. They never said precedent overruled their opinion regarding the Constitution.

Every lurch to the left in my lifetime has come from Activist Judges making laws that could never have gotten passed through the legislative process.

In the left's mind that is really the prime directive of the legal system.
