Lest we forget..the strange case of Carl Rowan

Carl Rowan was a national syndicated columnist and a notorious anti-gun advocate...oh yeah and an African American. On a hot summer night in 1988 Rowan loaded an illegal .22 revolver and shot a white kid who had been skinny dipping in his pool in an affluent suburb of Washington D.C.

Rowan died in 2003. The jury was deadlocked and he was never retried. His son who was in the FBI was apparently never prosecuted for supplying his notorious anti-gun father with an illegal firearm. The fix was in and the media didn't pursue the glaring hypocrisy issue.
