Let’s Remember About Whom We Are Speaking

Adolf would probably have a different view of Democrats since Roosevelt kicked his ever-loving ass.
Gee…PC wrong yet again.

First, Ugly, I'm never wrong.

Who was President in 1935?

FDR was pals with Hitler, Mussolini, and, his first love, Stalin.

Here's your education for today, Ug......
  1. The current narrative is geared toward minimizing the relationship between Roosevelt’s New Deal, and that of Mussolini and of Hitler…and that only due to the exigencies of the Second World War did it become necessary for Roosevelt to assume extreme powers identified with those of the other two regimes.
  2. In 1933, Fascism was celebrating its eleventh year in power, in Italy, and the election of the National Socialists in Germany represented an unmitigated defeat for liberal democracy in Europe’s largest industrialized nation.
    1. At the beginning of the same month, FDR was inaugurated as President. And before Congress went into recess it granted powers to Roosevelt unprecedented in peacetime. From Congressional hearings, 1973: “Since March 9, 1933, the United States has been in a state of declared national emergency.” http://www.freedomsite.net/93-549.htm
  3. The National Socialists hailed these ‘relief measures’ in ways you will recognize:
    1. May 11, 1933, the Nazi newspaper Volkischer Beobachter, (People’s Observer): “Roosevelt’s Dictatorial Recovery Measures.”
    2. And on January 17, 1934, “We, too, as German National Socialists are looking toward America…” and “Roosevelt’s adoption of National Socialist strains of thought in his economic and social policies” comparable to Hitler’s own dictatorial ‘Fuhrerprinzip.’
    3. And “[Roosevelt], too demands that collective good be put before individual self-interest. Many passages in his book ‘Looking Forward’ could have been written by a National Socialist….one can assume that he feels considerable affinity with the National Socialist philosophy.”
    4. The paper also refers to “…the fictional appearance of democracy.”

If you ever pick up a book.....

And who was president from 41-45 when we were kicking Adolf’s ass?
Democrats.

Jumbo apparently can’t read the history textbook…her belly gets in the way.

This was the post that brought the issue up:
"In 1935, the GOP was praising the Fascists in Europe and corporations were selling scrap metal to the Japanese. We got that scrap metal back tho."

Your attempt to change the subject indicates that you were unaware of the close relationship between Democrat icon FDR and Hitler.

One of so very many things you don't know.

And.....I hear you're so ugly, even the tide wouldn't take you out.

True?

And who was president from 41-45 when we were kicking Adolf’s ass?
Democrats.

Jumbo apparently can’t read the history textbook…her belly gets in the way.

And....41-45 was when FDR was wrapped in an intimate embrace with Joseph Stalin.

Proud of that, Ugly?

Your opinion is noted. The fact is that Democrats defeated the Nazis. No amount of moronic yelping from your gullet will change that.

No, Ugly.....the Americans defeated the Nazis.
As a result of FDR's turning over control of our war effort, at great additional cost of lives and treasure, to the psychopath, Joseph Stalin.

Roosevelt let Stalin move our invasion of Europe from the original plan, Italy, which we controlled......to Normandy, so as to allow Stalin to occupy the eastern half of Europe.

How much must I teach you?????????

Now....put that paper bag back over your head.....you're grossing everyone out.

No Democratic presidents defeated the Nazis and won the war thus rendering your OP humorous at best.

You’ve served your purpose and given us all another reason to laugh at your lard ass. You’re dismissed.

There was a time the US was leader of the free world

Now, Trump has isolated us and the rest of the world moves on without us

Where are they moving to? Perhaps we are smart not to "move" to where ever it is everyone else is moving to. Thankfully America doesn't run with the rest of the herd.
Where?

They are moving along without us. Making their own deals, forming modified alliances that ignore US influence

Just like Putin envisioned when he pushed for Trump. A weakened Western alliance

Well? Isn't that what you guys want anyways? Good Lord. You people are the MOST contradictory hypocritical people ever in the entire world! You are always complaining about us sticking our noses in other countries' business unless it's done by your own party. Pick one.
Actually, I preferred it when we were leaders of the free world
I preferred it when other nations respected us
I preferred having a leader we could be proud of

Hitler's takeover of Germany was not done by a vote. Most everyone who initially supported the Nazi's changed their minds soon after the '36 Olympics hosted by Germany. (where Hitler's theories on Aryan superiority were dashed.) A lot of Americans, from Lindbergh to Joe Kennedy initially supported Hitler.

Actually, the Soviets did 90 percent of the fighting and sacrificed 50 times the people we did

We came in at the end and claimed half the territory

But it's OK, if you think that'll bring you house back.

Even when I disagreed with Bush Sr. and disagreed with Obama, I never found myself regretful about voting for either of them.

There were some Americans (likely democrats if we’re being honest—Democrats were the dominant party back then) who fought actively for Germany in WWII in Europe.

Really?

Your claim is that Hitler wasn't popular among the Germans?????

On March 12, 1938, Hitler’s troops rolled over the border from Germany, into Austria. This was the Anschluss, the annexation of Austria into Greater Germany. Three days later, Hitler entered Vienna, greeted by an enthusiastic crowd of up to one million people. A plebiscite was held in less than a month, and 99.7% of Austrians voted to join the Third Reich.

Trump could not play more into Putin’s hands than to weaken the Western alliance

Your claim is that Hitler wasn't popular among the Germans?????

Before he was appointed Chancellor the Nazis never got more than 33% of the vote. That vote was in 1932.

"Hitler’s final grab for power was when he negotiated with the Reichstag members to give him temporary “emergency” powers for four years, enabling him to act without the consent of parliament or the German constitution. While negotiations were taking place, his large military force was surrounding parliament with the threat of war, should they refuse. "

Again, is it your point that he held the German populace hostage????

Nope. It was in response to this line "In 1933, Fascism was celebrating its eleventh year in power, in Italy, and the election of the National Socialists in Germany represented an unmitigated defeat for liberal democracy in Europe’s largest industrialized nation.

First, the election was in 1932. Second, Hitler was appointed, not elected. Third, after the Olympics many people who supported Hitler,(not Germans) began to question their support.
