Many Liberal politicians talk about the need to eliminate or reduce income inequality. My observation is that they never talk about “wealth inequality” or talk as if income and wealth are interchangeable or the same.
As a conservative, I am opposed to either income or wealth redistribution but I notice that Liberals never talk of outright wealth distribution. It’s always income inequality. My question to the Liberals, why not address wealth inequality by going after the wealthy who don’t need income and leave people’s income alone?
Here’s why: a true 1 percent does not need income. Specifically, for a wealthy liberal elitist to have his or her wealth cut vs. income would mean loss of power.
