it is cool and breezy here....fall is in the air...way too early....we have began to bring in firewood for the upcoming winter...the logs were delivered monday night...the wood splitter right after....we have sawed and split wood all day yesterday and are about to get started again...i get to run the wood splitter....which is basically moving a lever back and forth....i got this....it is a successful day when everyone has all their fingers at the end of the day

so how is fall looking where you live? early or late?

I think here in New England we will have an early fall and a spectacular foliage season.

We've had relatively nonexistent humidity and plentiful but not excessive rain and cooler than normal temps.

I can't wait until September.

60 degrees here..we are looking for the dog days of august

200 bucks and the house is heated for the winter...

i have had this wood stove for 33 years....i would love a new one but the new ones are not as well made as this old vermont castings stove....
