Hud can be more efficient and helpful if they read the riot act to the board of realtors and put them on notice that their member realtors ignoring correspondances inquiries on lower valued properties is against the fair housing act as is ignoring peoples inquiries who's only form of contact are emails or who's name assumes ethnicity. Cleaning up how realtors treat buyers forcing them in treating lower housing with the same rights and attention as upper priced housing and weeding out discrimination tricks of the trade would help force the board Realtors in each state to do more of their own policing freeing up more attention to the more direct obvious cases breaking the fair housing act that Hud is involved in investigating & prosecuting.
