dems have held the majority since 2018 .. dems held the majority when the Mueller report was released and fisa abuses were revealed and the Russian dossier was proven false ... as a result no one was held accountable ... with republicans about to take a historic victory leaders of the party know that their voters expect them to open serious investigations into the lefts abuse of power and corruption . with that being said any republican that doesnt support said hearings , subpoena's , and investigations will get primaried and voted out of office ... like it or not thats whats going to happen .

You know something, you may have inadvertently stumbled as why all these investigations of Trump has led to no criminal charges against him. You don't necessarily need evidence to start an investigation, but you DEFINITELY need evidence that will hold up to scrutiny for it to go to a trial. That's why this case is a civil case and not a criminal one. Less of a burden of proof has to be achieved to get the ruled in their favor.

In a major victory for NY AG Letitia James, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron approved the appointment of a monitor for the Trump Organization on Thursday, November 3, 2022. The monitor will oversee Trump Organization financial statements and reports. The ruling also forbids the Organization from transferring any non-cash assets without notifying the court and the AG’s office.

In rejecting the Trump Organization’s claim that the NY AG lacked standing to bring the fraud case against it, Donald J. Trump, Trump, Jr., Eric, and Ivanka, Justice Engoron stated simply: “Defendants are mistaken.”
