So now about 1/3 of tax filers do the itemized deductions. Maybe 10% will do them going forward, to as little as 1% of income tax filers. The Charitable Deduction is not gone. It has been replaced. Charity is not as big a business: THE MAJOR TRICKLE DOWN (CHARITY) IS NOW MORE WORTHLESS!
