Maybe Something Else Sucks Around Here

I grew up listening to George Carlin and I memorized all his routines.

The last 10 or 15 years of his life I stopped listening to him because I'd thought he'd turned into a "bitter old man" who just criticizes everything and runs the country down.

But now that he's gone I go over his routines from that time and I realize he was right all along.

"It's called the American Dream because you have to be Asleep to believe it!"

"It's a big club. And YOU ain't in it!"

I really miss George Carlin. Great intellect. Great insight. I was a big fan of his going back to the late 60s, and I saw him "in concert" many times.

He told it like it was. There will never be another comedian like him.
