McCain Not Charitable Toward Trump's Display Of Obvious Allegiance To Russia

Anyone who apologizes for or discounts Trump's submission to Putin in Helsinki is now recognized by the FBI as a security risk to America's greatness.

You mean the higher ranks in the FBI are a security risk to this country.
The FBI are the knights of American exceptionalism and greatness and civil liberties.

Those who decry them are American enemies and now revealed to all as such.

Here are John McCain's remarks about that disgusting display by the Pretender-in-Chief earlier today.

"Today's press conference in Helsinki was one of the most disgraceful performances by an American president in memory. The damage inflicted by President Trump's naiveté, egotism, false equivalence, and sympathy for autocrats is difficult to calculate. But it is clear that the summit in Helsinki was a tragic mistake.

President Trump proved not only unable, but unwilling to stand up to Putin.

He and Putin seemed to be speaking from the same script as the president made a conscious choice to defend a tyrant against the fair questions of a free press, and to grant Putin an uncontested platform to spew propaganda and lies to the world.

It is tempting to describe the press conference as a pathetic rout – as an illustration of the perils of under-preparation and inexperience. But these were not the errant tweets of a novice politician.

These were the deliberate choices of a president who seems determined to realize his delusions of a warm relationship with Putin's regime without any regard for the true nature of his rule, his violent disregard for the sovereignty of his neighbors, his complicity in the slaughter of the Syrian people, his violation of international treaties, and his assault on democratic institutions throughout the world.

'Coming close on the heels of President Trump's bombastic and erratic conduct towards our closest friends and allies in Brussels and Britain, today's press conference marks a recent low point in the history of the American Presidency.

That the president was attended in Helsinki by a team of competent and patriotic advisors makes his blunders and capitulations all the more painful and inexplicable.

'No prior president has ever abased himself more abjectly before a tyrant. Not only did President Trump fail to speak the truth about an adversary; but speaking for America to the world, our president failed to defend all that makes us who we are—a republic of free people dedicated to the cause of liberty at home and abroad.

American presidents must be the champions of that cause if it is to succeed. Americans are waiting and hoping for President Trump to embrace that sacred responsibility. One can only hope they are not waiting totally in vain."

Knowing that Mc-shit-Stain is parroting the same shit as liberals and globalist pigs confirms without a doubt President Trump is in the right.

Let’s not forget McStain wanted to go to war over the Russia-Georgian spat.

When you look up through the two holes in the plank seat of the outhouse in which you reside, what do you actually see?

McCain is another despicable globalist.
Spoken like a true traitor you are.

McCain never met a war he didn't love and the war mongering monster is responsible for more deaths and injuries world wide than Putin.

The one who has been to war know truly what war means than one dodges draft or never been to war.
McCain is not a warmonger.

The whole thing is about Trump and how he has compromised us. US can no longer take a moral upper hand on anything when a US president has just equated our faults with Russia's fault. We don't deserve to lead the free world anymore.

Trump is a reflection of what we have become. Sad and Disappointing.

McCain is irrelevant. Swampthing. Next.

How many liberals actually pay attention to news, both now and in the past? It seems like they get worked up when they are told they should be angry. I don't think most can explain themselves.

Since when are U.S. presidents supposed to act hostile towards other leaders when meeting them? I know a few were hostile toward Obama and refused to shake his hand. The left thought that was horrible but now want Trump to act that way.

Why is Hillary selling Russia uranium, taking millions in donations and being paid for speeches okay but Trump trying to soothe relations with Russia is so wrong?

Get a fucking grip, leftists. Most people are getting fed up with the hate and violence from the left. Enough already. If you can't articulate why you agree or disagree, then no one wants to listen to you. Tired of the constant barrage of nasty comments and downright hatred. At least when we disagreed with Obama, we spelled out why. Few leftists around here write much other than hit and run hate posts.
