The clickbait experts at Newsweek and other fake news outlets want their readers to think Melania Trump ordered the removal of a nearly 200-year-old tree from the White House just for kicks.

Media realize that most people do not read news, but merely glance at headlines. Ergo, the headlines are crafted to match whatever message media wants to impart, even if the story isn't a dead-on match.

She did order the removal of it, What is wrong with Info Wars, can't they read.

The problem with Infowars isn't Infowars. They know their demographic and how gullible they are.

The problem with Infowars is its readership. Who gobbles their conspiracy batshit without reading the article being cited.

Not Fake News. Simply an error in reporting.

Actually, neither. The Newsweek article was accurate.
Their liberal colleagues disagree:

“Another BS Newsweek tweet,” HuffPost reporter Yashar Ali wrote. “With 280 characters there’s no excuse for this.”

“Another Newsweek headline doing nothing for the credibility of the news industry as a whole. This headline is grossly misleading,” NBC News reporter Tom Winter wrote.

Notice how they make excuses and tell themselves what they want to believe no matter what hard core evidence you put before them.
You can pull bs from the white house itself and these stupid fks will still say it's a conspiracy.

They confound me. Their own party admits it is a fraudulent organization, in a court of law no less, they know that Hillary cheated Bernie, they know the entire fiasco is a big charade. They know these things as facts. And yet...

I've seen lots of reports with reasons for why... like how the tree is literally split in half.

I'll concede this one. The Newsweek article does expound on why the tree was being cut down. But the title doesn't even hint at such a reason.

A great president planted the tree and another great president will plant a new one. :)

No. A grounds keeper planted the first one, more than likely a former slave. The new one will be planted by another grounds keeper.

On orders of President Jackson and on orders of President Trump

Jackson planted the tress in memorial for his wife. So it's pretty sick to celebrate it because he's a racist President. Melania Trump is the one that made this knew decision.

He was a great president I really don't care if you don't like him. President Trump can plant one in memory of the forgotten majority that got him elected :)
