Medicare, Medicaid, and Medicare

Yup, not even in office yet, and already breaking promises to the far right and getting ready to spend, spend, spend, and break the GOP/Dem agreement on lowering the deficit. You picked a loser.

Perhaps, but he's a better loser than your loser.

There was no Dem commitment to lower the deficit. Dems want to keep spending and Republicans want to keep cutting. That's been the biggest issue between DumBama and the Republican Congress. Dems want to keep spending, but send the bill to the wealthy. Republicans want to cut both taxation and spending.

Yes, Trump is going to break some promises. How many has DumBama broken? Keep your doctor, keep your hospital, affordable healthcare for everybody, lowering insurance premiums by $2,500 a year for a family, shovel ready jobs??????

Ray, you are fucking full of shit. Since when has the GOP ever reduced spending? And this stupidity of reducing taxes and increasing spending was what, under Bush Jr., helped crash the economy. Thus far, Trump's campaign promises are just like Bush Jr.'s. And the result will be the same.

So to make your point, you want to go back in time? Very well, it wasn't the spending that crashed our economy, it was the housing collapse which had many a Democrat fingerprint on it.

No, I'm not full of shit--you are. The Republican Congress has been cutting spending, and they would cut even more if they could get it past the Senate and DumBama, but under the circumstance, they did quite well:

Flat lie, Faye Ray. The 2011 agreement was a commitment between dems and pubs to contain the budget and deficit. Both parties did it together. Your last statements is meaningless in the framework of the OP and makes no sense at all.

Thank you, Mr. President, for forcing the GOP to make a deal.

Oh please. The Dems did no such thing, and even if they did, it would be to take credit for something they didn't do and had absolutely no control over.

If they wanted to reduce spending, they would have done it before the Republicans took over Congress. But it's Republicans that had to fight the Democrats to reduce spending. The sequester, the shutdown of government, losing our three star credit rating for the first time in our history all had to do with Republicans fighting Democrats because they wanted to spend less and the Democrats wanted to spend more.

Your lies do not change the facts. The GOP tried shutting down the government and the Dems made them back down.

Jake, for one of the few times, you are absolutely correct here. Democrats do threaten a shutdown and the MSM promises to lay the blame on Republicans, so yes, they did back down. They wanted to cut much more.

You have it backwards, of course.

The GOP tried to shut down the govt, and the Dems kicked their asses. Hard.

The GOP doesn't have to "try" anything. If they wanted to shut the government down, they would have.

And I don't know where you come up with that conclusions anyway. Thanks to MSM, the Republicans would get the blame for it.

They do not contribute to the national debt, thus they should not be touched.

The people on Medicare voted to abolish oddly enough.
Explanation and links, please.
republicans have always wanted to abolish Medicare and they now control the country. You get what you vote for in this case.

If they always wanted to abolish Medicare, why didn't they do it when Bush was President with a Republican Congress and Senate?

Of course, that must be it. You certainly can't be wrong...........

Ravi, as .a matter of fact, would have 1/100th chance of being wrong compared to you, Faye Ray.

Paul Ryan is that he has groups on the far right and the center diametrically opposed to each other in the GOP on this issue. The center will combine with the Dems to defeat any attempt to change medicaid.
