Memories Pizza has shutdown

Walkerton pizzeria once at center of national controversy has now closed

“Memories Pizza, the shop that became embroiled in the national debate over religious and civil rights and touched off a national media firestorm in 2015, has closed.”

A decent customer would respect the business owner’s religious rights and just choose another business, but the left wing bigots will try to destroy people instead of compromising.

Liberals accomplished once again what they always do best, like fire ants they gang up on anyone different from them and try to destroy their opposition. Kinda like a virus.

Yep.

That's what you get when you run up against the deep state, right?

You RWNJs really need to Get. A. Grip. but before you do, be sure to send them a check.

If they had great pizza, they never would have closed.

Absolutely incorrect. The Prog Hate Mobs are out to destroy anyone who dares to disagree with them. Smaller entities have far less power and resources to fend them off.

We saw such a lynching in Berkeley last week when the LW Haters killed the beloved Elmwood Cafe.

Elmwood Cafe - CLOSED - Elmwood - Berkeley, CA

Fortunately, I'm bored and used the time to respond to your irrational points.

You should really do some research on the profitability of small diners/pizza Parlors without a liquor license, instead of making asinine responses...

I live in a town of 6,000 and we have 3 pizza parlours, two of whom don’t have a liquor license. They’re all thriving.

Sounds like the Memoried owners took the $800k and retired.

My parents owned a restaurant in a village of 800. Admittedly they were the only restaurant in town, but if my mother hadn’t been such a good cook, every table wouldn’t have been filled at mealtimes.

When I came home from school at lunch, I had to eat my lunch in the kitchen because every table and counter seat out front was filled with paying customers.

Interesting to look at how many restaurants a small town will support. Even though the town we recently left had three major businesses and a univ, there were very few restaurants. The people who bought our house planned to open another. We recently talked to them - sure nuff, they're going broke but plan to hold on.

Often, the reason small businesses fail is that they don't plan for a long long LONG time before they make a consistent profit.

Used to watch the British guy, foul mouth, can't remember his name now. Invariably, by the time they asked for his help, they were so far in debt, they might never again be solvent. Many said they planned to keep working until they dropped.

I agree with what you said about being a good cook. If the food sucks, the place will fail.

Now they can just open their very successful church and exclude as many of God's children as they see fit.

Why is free exercise of religion limited to churches?

Its not.

People can pray, read their bible or other tracts, etc - everywhere.

The christian religion is forced on non-christians. Is that what you're referring to? For example- non-christians are forced to pay for christian holidays.

It isn't. Who has told those pizza owners that they have to change their religion?

And free trade.

Apparently, we be forced to subsidize businesses owned by "christians" the way we are forced to subsidize their holidays?

Not change, just not follow it to sell something OR ELSE.

What if their religion tells them not to sell to people of another religion? Of another race? What if their religion tells them not to follow safety laws? to not follow health laws?

We've seen this in the area of children who's parents refuse them medical treatment because of 'their religion' and some of these children have died when they could have easily survived.

A minor controversy that was over in 2015 has nothing to do with retirement in 2018, three years later. The gays sucking one another off in front of the pizza place have long since moved on.

Another huge set up by the gaystapo was all it was....and in the end they looked foolish as usual
