I have to say, I was against the idea of impeachment during this congress, because there is no chance that the Dem Senate will remove them, or even have a bona fide trial.

But this is over the line. You don't prosecute someone because they announced for president. You prosecute someone because there is strong evidence of their guilt. That comes first before you think about who will prosecute him.

The Dems have had this whole process backwards from the start. They began with a guy they wanted to prosecute. Then they picked a person to prosecute him. Then they asked the prosecutor to try and find some kind of crime.

If the only reason that Mueller did not prosecute was that Trump was a sitting president, why more investigations. Just dust off the Mueller report and present it to the Grand Jury. Hell, let Meuller himself to the presentation, that should give them a laugh.
