Metaphorically speaking, the car keys have been found in the frig again.

Trump’s Speeches, Increasingly Angry and Rambling, Reignite the Question of Age

Former President Donald J. Trump vividly recounted how the audience at his climactic debate with Vice President Kamala Harris was on his side. Except that there was no audience. The debate was held in an empty hall. No one “went crazy,” as Mr. Trump put it, because no one was there.

Anyone can misremember, of course. But the debate had been just a week earlier and a fairly memorable moment. And it was hardly the only time Mr. Trump has seemed confused, forgetful, incoherent or disconnected from reality lately. In fact, it happens so often these days that it no longer even generates much attention.

He rambles, he repeats himself, he roams from thought to thought — some of them hard to understand, some of them unfinished, some of them factually fantastical. He voices outlandish claims that seem to be made up out of whole cloth. He digresses into bizarre tangents about golf, about sharks, about his own “beautiful” body. He relishes “a great day in Louisiana” after spending the day in Georgia. He expresses fear that North Korea is “trying to kill me” when he presumably means Iran. As late as last month, Mr. Trump was still speaking as if he were running against President Biden, five weeks after his withdrawal from the race.

Trump’s Speeches, Increasingly Angry and Rambling, Reignite the Question of Age

The article goes on to explain the NYT did a computerized analysis of Don's speaking pattern comparing speeches from as far back as 2015 to now. The results would be concerning to family members if this were a person showing this degree of cognitive decline. This person is running to be the prez.

But I don't want to get bogged down by citing all the examples in the research piece. I want to focus on this...... In fact, it happens so often these days that it no longer even generates much attention. Specifically this.........

Trump Speaks of Nonexistent Debate ‘Audience,’ Says ‘They Went Crazy’
Trump Speaks of Nonexistent Debate ‘Audience,’ Says ‘They Went Crazy’

We've become accustomed (not a good thing) to trump's endless, disorienting, litany of lies. Referring to a non-existent debate crowd feels different. Has his decline advanced to the point where his imagination allows him create a more comforting reality? One where an audience that wasn't there supported him. Perhaps filling a psychological need because he knows how badly the debate went for him.

The reason for the delusion matters less than the fact it happened. This is not a time when we can ignore it because...."it happens so often these days." This is a time when we need to pay attention.

See post #3.

According to a computer analysis by The New York Times, Mr. Trump’s rally speeches now last an average of 82 minutes, compared with 45 minutes in 2016. Proportionately, he uses 13 percent more all-or-nothing terms like “always” and “never” than he did eight years ago, which some experts consider a sign of advancing age.

Similarly, he uses 32 percent more negative words than positive words now, compared with 21 percent in 2016, which can be another indicator of cognitive change. And he uses swearwords 69 percent more often than he did when he first ran, a trend that could reflect what experts call disinhibition. (A study by Stat, a health care news outlet, produced similar findings.)

Disinhibition is the inability to control oneself or withhold an unwanted or inappropriate behavior. It can manifest as impulsive actions, poor self-regulation, or a disregard for social conventions.

Y’all post the same fucking thread everyday. Even the mainstream media is turning on Kamala, they know she can’t win.

Y’all are going to have to start WW3 at this point or something.

/—-/ Meanwhile, nobody can figure out what Commie Harris is yapping about.

He's unfit to serve....his decline is on stage daily....

Getting in to his 80s can't be better, only WORSE!

God help us!

Yea he is in stage daily, and y’all have nothing.

Meanwhile Kamala can’t even do a sit down, taped interview with leftwing media without totally fucking it up. Her 60 Minutes interview was an absolute train wreck that will give Trump lots of good clips for new ads showing how incompetent and dumb she is.

When you say "meanwhile" what you're really saying is... In fact, it happens so often these days that it no longer even generates much attention.

Or, "we know, we just don't care."

Y'all ignore the same effing subject every day.
No moron, you just post lies all the time.

In this particular case, when he is saying the audience went crazy, he was talking about the 75 million watching at home which he specifically mentions 5 seconds after saying the audience went crazy.

Another dumb lie debunked.

Even if somehow Trump doesn't make it for the whole term...there's the Vice President JD Vance who nobody minds taking over.

And that's a huge difference.

we hears the same shit about biden every day while trump has been objectively delusional for months or longer.

you will be hearing it every day until he dies, which is the only way he will leave office again.

Yeah...we have nothing....trump is perfect on stage, no blunders, no rattling off topic, no made up lies, no sowing discord 24/7, no throwing truth, to the ground.... No fabrication of crowds...no fabrications of dogs and cat pets being eaten...

The guy is off the rocker NUTS! A total embarrassment to America!
