Just watched Sebastian Gotka on FOX...he mentioned that over half of the caravan are military age males so it is a threat to the United States. Perfect! Military age males. Arm them, train them...send them back to liberate their homelands. Make a deal. Tell them their wives and children can stay in prepared locations in the US until the day of liberation comes.

I know intimately several individuals who served as US military advisors to nations throughout the Third World. While the work they did in those place (missionaries with guns, so to speak) was important—even vital to the defeat of the Soviet Union's global influence and the spread of communism, one can only try so hard to teach other men to fish, before the effort turns around and bites one square on the ass.

We are perhaps the greatest sovereign nation ever to arise in human history, however, currently, our America is also being eaten alive from within culturally, politically, ideologically and socially. Meaning, to me at least, what America needs to do is focus on cleaning her own house before she contracts out to clean other nations up. The rest of the world's fate is not our concern, in so far as playing the role of the superhero who sweeps in to say El Salvador and liberates her people from themselves. During the 60's the 70's and the 80's we Americans did just that—swooped in on our hi-tech magic carpets and descended down among the poor and starving, the backwater lost and the victims of communist influence, and yet—the people in those places still largely never learned to "fish" on their own. And now, now those same people, or their future-present generations, not only want us to teach them how to fish, they want to come live with the fisherman, here among us.

See, if you take a drive to the "east side" of just about any American city, smallest to largest, you will in fact be driving right into a Salvadorian like Third World, right here in the good old US of A. That's unacceptable. So why then should we bring the Third World here, when—just look at Detroit or Baltimore—the Third World is already living among us? If I am not mistaken, a lot of these countries tried Socialism - Venezuela, and China to name a couple - but the only reason why China's Socialism has worked for so long is because as an avowed socialist state, China is still very upfront about its right and intention to guide its economy. Large portions of the economy (energy, media, transportation, finance) are directly controlled through large state-owned enterprises. Private companies do exist in these sectors, but only at the margins, and they basically can’t exist without the large state owned enterprieses (SOEs.) Many other sectors (e.g. real estate, mining, manufacturing) are both highly regulated and managed through the banking system - if a particular sector seems to be growing too fast, the supply of loans will be tightened.
