Like a thuggish pimp who expects his women to work hard for him, give them all their money and shut up about it, pimp McConnell tells American corporations to "stay out of politics."

Mitch McConnell told CEOs to 'stay out of politics' over the Georgia voting law, despite being one of the biggest recipients of corporate cash in Congress
McConnell slammed the companies decrying Georgia's voting law — but he's a top recipient of CEOs' cash.www.businessinsider.com
Is it a only matter of time before he gets taken to the woodshed, or are the American corporations going to lay down and take it?
McTurtle needs to STFU, stay in his shell, and cash the checks. Stay out of politics? What a joke. These are his overlords who PAY him specifically to eliminate regulation and cut their taxes.
Corporations can't take away our rights? Tell that to the Civil Rights advocates who demand that minorities have rights with corporations. Tell that to gays who demand that a baker make them a cake for their wedding.

I applaud your attempt here, but the Trump apologists already turned a similar thread into "they stole the election from us."Like a thuggish pimp who expects his women to work hard for him, give them all their money and shut up about it, pimp McConnell tells American corporations to "stay out of politics."

SCOTUS routinely upholds things like abortion and corporate power, etc. At first, it appeared to many that they benefits both the right and left, when in reality, it was only the Left all along. Hopefully conservatives will begin to wake up and get woke.So let me get this straight.WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell lashed out at corporate America on Monday, warning CEOs to stay out of the debate over a new voting law in Georgia that has been criticized as restricting votes among minorities and the poor.
"Corporations will invite serious consequences if they become a vehicle for far-left mobs to hijack our country from outside the constitutional order," McConnell told a news conference in his home state of Kentucky.
Big business ties with Republicans began fraying under former President Donald Trump's leadership and the party's focus on voting restrictions has soured businesses embracing diversity as key to their work force and customer base. Major Georgia employers Coca-Cola and Delta Air Lines have spoken out against the law signed by Governor Brian Kemp, and Major League Baseball pulled the 2021 All-Star Game out of the state over the law strengthening identification requirements for absentee ballots and making it a crime to offer food or water to voters waiting in line.

Uh oh, Mitch is talking tough again. Watch out Coke.
Corporations are taking away our first amendment rights by censoring Conservatives on social media, and that is Ok.
But a Republican tells corporations they need to straighten up and he becomes the threatening fascist insurgent?
LOL.
Corporate America have gone to war with the GOP, and with over 70 million Americans.
God forbid they get angry about it.
How does it feel to lick the arse of the top 1% as a Lefty?
I know... After Mitch helped Corporations involved in Politics in the first sense and got Citizens United through...
Is this Corporations now exercising there right and acting in the wishes of their customer base...
If this continues the US Government might actually do what the people want not a minority of uber rich and lemmings...
I think conservatives, or at least hopefully, are seeing that corporations are merely a creation of the government, to be used by the government, for the power of government, and not the people.Corporations can't take away our rights? Tell that to the Civil Rights advocates who demand that minorities have rights with corporations. Tell that to gays who demand that a baker make them a cake for their wedding.
Oh, I have. Repeatedly. I pointed out that forcing businesses to accommodate people against their will was an abuse of government and set a really bad precedent. And in those debates, Republicans agreed with me. But now, when it suits their current politics, the very same Republicans suddenly see it differently, and insist that social media sites should be forced to host "news" and opinions they disagree with. And on the other side, liberals, who previously claimed that businesses shouldn't be allowed to "discriminate", are defending the rights of social media companies to do exactly that.
That's what's so frustrating and disappointing about this whole issue. Hardly any of you have any real values or principles. You simply want to use the government to bully people you don't like.

By themselves, they are mini governments.
I would not think of entering politics. So let me get this straight.WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell lashed out at corporate America on Monday, warning CEOs to stay out of the debate over a new voting law in Georgia that has been criticized as restricting votes among minorities and the poor.

Give me your money but stay out of politics. The grim reaper is a hypocrite.
What do you call it when corporations team up with government to punish the people?.....Like a thuggish pimp who expects his women to work hard for him, give them all their money and shut up about it, pimp McConnell tells American corporations to "stay out of politics."

Depends on what you call a conservative. IF a conservative is about defending corporate power, then they are no longer a conservative. But if being a conservative is about defending personal freedom from government, then they are still a conservativeI think conservatives, or at least hopefully, are seeing that corporations are merely a creation of the government, to be used by the government, for the power of government, and not the people.Corporations can't take away our rights? So, they're no longer "conservatives", they're just liberals with a different list of people they want bully.
Sen McConnell is a vacillating hack.
He had zero problems with corporations up until now...

What problems was he "required" to have with them before now?

People will simply have to decide now.
It is now apparent to all how things are...........FINALLY!

None. That was the point.
As long as the donations came in, he had no problems.

No, the ACTUAL point is that he didn't have a problem with them until they started doing things he had a problem with.
Kinda like . . . I don't punish my kids until they actually do something wrong.

Glad we agree.
