Most people live week to week. With unemployment that high, think about the # of mortgages & car payments that are going to fall behind. Massive defaults and bankruptcy filings will soar. In addition, to the stimulus, the banks are going to have to suspend payments on some of this stuff for a few months. I bet we start hearing some proposals to do that soon.
