Moon god?

So Roudy, are you calling the Torah a lie?

There are many verses where both jewish prophets and people were said to have "fell on their face" and bowed down before G-d. (see post #51)

A person cannot put their face on the ground standing up. You have to get down on your knees and balance yourself with your hands in order to place your face on the ground.

In other words, the jews of the Torah did exactly as the muslims do today when worshiping G-d. .......

Well it's no coincidence that you, just like your illiterate prophet, are trying to define what Jews are and are not supposed to do.

Getting on all fours like an animal or slave is totally forbidden. Exodus 20:5 and many more. That's why you'll never find a Jew doing that, ever.

Now get on all fours like a good doggy.

You got that all wrong, doggy:

The Bible states, in Leviticus 26:1, “Nor shall you install a kneeling-stone in your land, to bow down upon it.” Idol-worshipers often placed a special stone before their idol and then used it to kneel upon while they prayed to their idols. The above verse forbids prostrating yourself flat-out on a stone floor, even if you are worshiping the One G‑d. Our Sages extended this prohibition to include kneeling.

The prohibition was against installing kneeling-stones.

It wasn't against "falling on your face" as many of the Bible prophets did when they worshiped G-d. .....

Having reading comprehension problems again? Here is the rest of what you omitted:

The above verse forbids prostrating yourself flat-out on a stone floor, even if you are worshiping the One G‑d.

Comprendeh? Even if you are worshiping the "One G-d", you are praying as idol worshippers.

They fell on their face when they met G-d, you idiot. They didn't ask everybody to keep getting in all fours like animals and idol worshippers every time they prayed. This is what happens when a desert illiterate terrorist tries interpreting other religions. You get this fuckup called Islam with followers like Sunni who basically have the IQ of a donkey.

So Roudy, what does it mean in the many verses of the Torah where it says the jewish prophets and jews "fell on their face" and worshipped G-d?

How did they physically put their face on the ground?

What position were they in? .......

I will second that.......todays jews are nothing like the jews of the Torah.

Gay Pride Parades in Israel is just one example. ........

Jews are tolerant peaceful people that coexist wherever they go. In fact they are one of the most peaceful people in history. They have never invaded other people, or forced their religion and culture upon others.

And today's Muslims? What are they "like"?

Oh look! Here comes a pack of wild Muslims on fours! They must be heading to Mecca! Ha ha ha.

I already answered you idiot. They FELL to their faces when they met G-d. However, as G-d instructed, for prayer and worship, you are forbidden to get on all fours like an animal, slave, or idol worship.

Sunni rushing to the mosque while getting in payer position in advance. What a religion...what a religion!

Which part of Leviticus 26.1 did you not get?

Everybody put your gas masks on! Ha ha ha.

The question is irrelevant since the OT accounts were about when the mentioned prophets found themselves in the presence of God. They never compelled anyone to get down on the ground with them. and many such accounts are the recorded events of a dream.

Its not at all the same as getting down on all fours five times a day in the direction of Mecca out of fear from threats of real and imaginary violence for nonconformity..

The same God who created human beings to walk on two feet would never command them to get down on their hands and knees in large groups, like teeming vermin, to degrade themselves like clockwork.

You know

You need a practitioner of the religion to explain their religion...A lot of misconceptions can arise if you ask someone that is not apart of it.

It's really funny watching Roudy contradict himself again and again.........
You guys get in all fours like animals. That's no contradiction.

The Old Testament clearly commands Jews to NOT get on all fours. That's no contradiction either.

There are Jewish holidays like Yom Kippur, that Jews don't even wear shoes with any type of to leather on it. It's clear that the religion believes that God wanted a clear separation between humans and animals. That includes wearing a skull cap or yamaka. Again, because hair is what animals have and it's disrespectful to God to show hair.

God created man in his own image. If he wanted human beings to get on all fours like dogs or idol worshippers or slaves he would have spelled it.
