More WSJ/NBC poll: Battleground voters favor Kavanaugh confirmation — by double digits

Rape? The Republicans should be sending people like you Thank You cards.
Fuckin’ pervert
You hateful, nasty, ugly Regressive Leftists essentially represent the Democratic Party right now.

You're part of the reason Trump is in there in the first place, and you're making it more difficult for the Dems to win.

Please. Stop. Find another fucking hobby. Go away.

I'm fucking begging ya.
.
And go into full submission to Trump like you? Nope.
Funny, just the kind of thing the Alt Right would say if tables were turned. Of course.

I wasn't holding my breath.
.
Hold on, let me demand Trump’s birth certificate, claim my political opponents were involved in murdering JFK, and blame Trump for personally murdering any Americans killed overseas. You found that typenof thing attractive once, maybe it’ll work again.
:dunno:
.

Meant to say battleground Trump voters. My b.
Your bad was to be talking about rape, when everyone knows that was just a scam-smear, and a stupid one, with no substantiation.

You guys really don't know why you have lost the American people, and have to depend on foreigners for votes, and then you still lose.

I know.. I laugh every time I see these witless morons go to a biased blog instead of the source.
Do you guys have any idea how dumb you look with your INVALIDATION card, all the while supported the moronic biases of CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, Washington Post, etc ?

EARTH TO YOU: Hot air merely reported what YOUR media (NBC) reported. God you guys are dumb. Oh you laugh, do you ? So do 10 year olds.

The Hot Air article gave their opinion on this article, NBCNEWS Poll: Kavanaugh fallout continues to polarize voters ahead of midterms - The NBC poll says absolutely nothing about; "Battleground voters favor Kavanaugh confirmation — by double digits". It's like two different worlds.

As always, one should exercise extreme caution in this forum (or any forum) before accepting anything news put before you. Read the links. In this case, it's just one persons opinion of a poll. Polls are always problematic and can be easily twisted and prevaricated by people with partisan agendas.

Wonder no more at the Kavanaugh Effect. To follow up on the previous post regarding Donald Trump’s rebound in popularity after Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation, NBC digs a little deeper into the numbers in the new poll from its partnership with the Wall Street Journal. It finds voters diffident on Kavanaugh himself but a thin plurality in favor of his confirmation — a change in direction from other polling over the past month:

Overall, Kavanaugh remains underwater on personal favorability, with 34 percent of voters reporting a positive view of him, while 40 percent have a negative one.

Asked a different way, 40 percent of registered voters say they favor Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the high court, while 36 percent oppose it. About one in five (21 percent) say they need to know more about him.

Small wonder one in five voters need to know more about Kavanaugh. The Senate Judiciary Committee hearings barely touched on his life as an adult, let alone his actual record as a jurist. When it comes to the districts where control of the House will be determined, however, the gap widens into double digits:

Republicans overall have seen an increase in enthusiasm about the midterms since the last NBC/WSJ poll in September — which was conducted before Kavanaugh and accuser Christine Blasey Ford testified publicly about the assault allegations. Last month, 61 percent of Republicans indicated that they had the highest level of interest in voting in the midterms; that’s up to 68 percent this month.

Voters in key House districts also favor Kavanaugh’s confirmation. In districts rated as Toss Up or Lean races by the nonpartisan Cook Political Report, voters favor Kavanaugh’s confirmation 43 percent to 33 percent.

It’s not a majority, but that’s a strong plurality. Not only that, but the relatively low number opposing Kavanaugh’s confirmation in these districts seems pretty surprising, given the amount of media hyperventilating over the unsubstantiated allegations that drove the coverage. Either the smear campaign didn’t stick long, or it never worked very well in the very areas of the country where Democrats most needed a game-changer.

Unfortunately for them, it looks like they got what they wanted. The Kavanaughcalypse not only provided a catalyst for Republican enthusiasm, it looks like it landed precisely where Republicans needed it. Such are the Kavanaughn sequences for witch hunts and smear campaigns, or so we hope. The only way to prevent exploitation of moral panics from being the new political norm is to supply strong disincentives for its use. At least for the moment, that appears to be in reach.

I’m not surprised to see battleground Trump voters endorse rape. Really terrible, despicable people that they are.

You're thinking of Bill Clinton

1. The Hot Air report reported the results of another report (the nonpartisan Cook Political Report). It stated that the Cook Report said that >> "Voters in key House districts also favor Kavanaugh’s confirmation. In districts rated as Toss Up or Lean races by the nonpartisan Cook Political Report, voters favor Kavanaugh’s confirmation 43 percent to 33 percent." Are you claiming that this is false ?

2. Referring to the NBC poll, the Hot Air article also states that >> "Asked a different way, 40 percent of registered voters say they favor Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the high court, while 36 percent oppose it."
Are you also claiming this is false ?

3. Then, the Hot Air article stated >> "The Senate Judiciary Committee hearings barely touched on his (Kavanaugh) life as an adult, let alone his actual record as a jurist." You claim this is false ?

4. Lastly, the HA article said > "Last month, 61 percent of Republicans indicated that they had the highest level of interest in voting in the midterms; that’s up to 68 percent this month." You claim this as false ?

Thanks BlackFag. Without moronic regressives like you winning elections might actually be difficult.

I didn't say anything was false. I said one must exercise caution when believing anything posted in a forum. The two sources I mentioned contradict each other. I don't care what your opinion on these sources are. The caveat here is for people to do multiple source checks, especially out of your comfort zone. To quote nothing but right leaning sources (or left leaning depending on the situation) does not provide a clear picture for the reader.

Now granted, most people here are so ultra partisan and myopic, they'll never do that. This is why I occasionally state that this forum is the worst place to get unbiased news. In this case, we are dealing with opinions, not empirical facts. Polls on topical issues change so often, they cannot be regarded as facts as people are giving their opinions. Once again, some people can't tell the difference between facts and opinions.

You said > "The NBC poll says absolutely nothing about; "Battleground voters favor Kavanaugh confirmation — by double digits".

But the NBC poll said >> "Voters in key House districts also favor Kavanaugh’s confirmation. In districts rated as Toss Up or Lean races by the nonpartisan Cook Political Report, voters favor Kavanaugh’s confirmation 43 percent to 33 percent."

43 to 33 is 10 points (double digits)

The blue states got bluer and the purple states got redder. The blue wave is gone, it should be a nail biter of a mid-term!!
