I do too. small town cops are nice.My little stalker buddy keeps saying I used to be a cop... based on nothing more than me being a moderator on a discussion forum he posted on.
I respect the cops (for the most part) but there is no way on hell i would ever want that job... not for what the make and have to put up with.

I have read the rules, a couple of times now actually. It's pretty cut and dry stuff, but still not what I'm used too. I totally agree that you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar as well... but I've always given what I get too, so there is that.
Where I came from literally had two rules.
No racial slurs in thread titles, no doxxing... and no porn. So there were three rules.

The new ownwer couldn't get advertisers. That's what happens when you open up to the white supremecist trash. The advertisers will drop you immediately. .net isn't going to get any either, unless the name is changed. LF has permanent baggage attached to it.

Someone always gets butthurt no matter what call you make, and it almost always spills over into the day to day discussions so, it really hinders your participation. I would much rather just be a member and post and not fool with that crap.
I commend anyone that voluntarily moderates a site like this because it really does blow for the moderator... I know first hand.

Same with cops. The majority of them are decent folks, but everyone always remembers the asshole they encountered 20 years ago.
20 years, I still remember the asshole from 45 years ago.. lol.. redbeard, the local motorcycle cop, he made it his mission to harrass kids who were just having some fun, it was a good thing he was a fat guy so he couldn't catch us when he had to get of his motorcycle and chase us on foot in the woods..Agreed, but for the most part, that's not the case.

I'm talking about the cop that takes a simple interaction to the next level because he's on a power trip... like the 25 year old State Trooper that calls a 56 year old man a "boy" during a traffic stop, and then gets the red ass because the guy he pulled over starts giving him shit.
