Gillum is such a minor leaguer that none of the other Ds wasted any money or time tagging him during the primaries.

So the D line is, drum roll please. Think Obama but with more experience and less political talent. Wrong. He is running as a gringo socialist against an Hispanic in FL. This does not quite put him on the wrong side of the D racial divide but a black man going up against a probable descendant of Minorcan slaves who pulled off a successful slave revolt might work with a Haitian-American candidate but it won't work for Gillum.

Raising taxes in FL with an oversized fraction of retirees on fixed income in the population ain't going to fly.

Raising further taxes on tourists with competition from the Bahamas, PR, Cuba, Costa Rica and other Caribbean tourist traps is a limited source of revenue.

I would sum up Gillum as Obama-lite. The only thing that makes him a threat in Florida IMO is the very high elderly population whose number one priority is their healthcare. If he sells them on the idea that he will give them "free healthcare" he could win. Otherwise he is another empty suit playing the race card and pushing Socialism.

Effectively all senior citizens in FL already have better healthcare programs than Gillum is offering and they don't need new taxes to cut down on their fun money.

We live in a house with 900 sq ft under air conditioning. We have unsolicited offers from numerous flippers. In an auction we could get something like $400K
