If you had read the article you would know that it's a center right party. Which means it's republicans who aren't crazy.

They will be the alternative to the Republican Party of today.

They won't be the alternative to the Democratic Party of today so there's no hope and change part II.

We've already tried that methodology; didn't seem to be effective, so they developed the idea of 'nationhood' and parliaments. Now that we have universal education of a sort we can at least start to weed out those who can't be bothered to learn basic civics from the voting rolls.

The challenge is in raising the money to challenge all the Congressional and Senate races in 50 states, as well as governorships and various state level offices. Don't see that kind of money flowing into 'third parties', when Wall Street and the corporations are happy with the status quo. You're going to have to start Constitutional Amendment drives to take the money out of politics and the media first to have a chance.
