My mother’s assisted living facility, already super-expensive, just announced a 9% increase in rent. (They had a modest increase of 3% last year.) They said in the announcement letter that they had been trying to hold costs down, but the cost of food, utilities, and increasing wages have made this necessary.

And now Harris says she wants to increase the corporate tax rate to 35%. How is the corporation supposed to stay profitable after that? Answer: they will be forced to raise the rent at least 15% MORE.

This is the Democrat Socialist party today: bankrupt the now “useless” Senior citizens while paying for luxury hotel stays for illegal aliens.

Don’t lump all American voters together in one basket. About 80 million of us believe in fairness, hard work, and being held responsible for one’s own decisions.

It's weird, I may be morphing into a soyboy. I was never afraid of the prospect of a Trump, Biden or Hillary presidency. I had some fears, but, not actually afraid for the results.

As someone who is on top of global issues and dangers, the West is at the precipice of real danger. I keep repeating that people don't understand just what dangers could lie ahead. The strength of Iran today, with N Korea, China and Russia. All nations very effective in cyber space, improved A.I and spycraft.

If WWIII breaks out, this isn't going to be a single nation like Germany on the march until others worked their orbit. This is going to be vastly different in execution and in options available to Allied nations.

That's why one man or one woman as president for 4 years at a time, doesn't make any decisions alone...they have career servants in National Security, federal Intelligence agencies, the Military Intelligence, Foreign Relation experts, experts on A/I and tons of other people with 20 years of experience to rely on.... (probably what the right wing calls the deep state, but I'm not sure?)
