Ok. What did Arbury steal?

No one said he stole anything. They thought he might be the thief that many reported seeing in the neighborhood.

Now. One might wonder how this rash of burglaries happened without anything actually being stolen.

Here we have arrived at another crime. The crime in Georgia, where I live, is called Aggravated Assault. That means you were waving the bang stick around in a threatening manner. It is also a Felony. So we have two felonies by the McMichaels and nobody has been shot yet.

Like I said, if they wanted to murder the guy they could have done it out of video range and before he had a chance to grab someone's gun. They could have then buried the body without anyone knowing. Fox News says that there were no burglaries for 52 days before the killing. So how exactly were this rash of burglaries happening? No police reports were filed. Everything I was told not to do by the cop who taught the class, and the lawyer to discussed the law with me, was done by the three blithering idiots. So you watched the video and saw the same thing you fear I did. I saw it too.

The statements and questions from the three defense attorneys. Each defendant had their own.

Roddy’s attorney seems to be saying that Roddy should not be charged. He was a good neighbor and was trying to help out. He had no idea that the attempt to detain Arbury was criminal. He assumed the McMichaels were legally authorized to do what they were doing. It was the McMichaels who broke the law and Roddy stands ready to testify against them. After all it was the McMichaels who committed the crimes. Roddy is anxious to assist the Prosecution against those criminals.

Greg McMichaels. The Daddy’s attorney is arguing that you can’t blame him for the actions of his son. He was not committing a crime in following Arbury. But it was Travis who got aggressive and shot him.

Travis’s attorney is arguing that it was self defense.

Two of the three attorneys are saying it was him and pointing at Travis. Including the Father.

Now what that means is that all three attorneys know the shooting was criminal under Georgia law. Travis’s attorney knows his only hope is that the Jury has enough reasonable doubt to find it was self defense.

Greg’s attorney is trying to distance his client from the crime. Arguing that Greg was trying to do the right thing. He was on the phone with police after all. It was Travis who committed the crimes.

Roddy’s attorney has the best chance. And that is honestly a coin toss IMO. I think it is possible that the Jury will believe that Roddy was an idiot who honestly wanted to help his neighbors.

I think Greg and Travis are screwed. I think that their attorneys know it. They are requesting that the Judge prohibit the Prosecution from referring to Arbury as the Victim.

Attorneys seek to prohibit calling Ahmaud Arbery a ‘victim’

Last week, attorneys submitted several motions, including to exclude recorded phone calls the McMichaels made while in the county jail.

The Defense also wants to exclude any and all recorded phone calls from jail from being introduced into evidence.

Now. I don’t know and I haven’t seen it reported in any news media what those phone calls might include. Any thoughts?
