Something we all saw very clearly with the two assassination attempts on Trump that the Secret Service either was oblivious to, or was in on.

Now the NYT explains how the corruption of the Biden/Harris administration led to the collapse of a once-proud agency.

This summer, two assassination attempts against former President Donald J. Trump revealed deep problems in the Secret Service. Failures in technology meant a would-be assassin was able to use a drone for surveillance. Failures in command meant a nearby rooftop was left unprotected for him to climb. Failures in communication meant he was able to fire, even after being spotted.

It's like many critical agencies today in the West, nepotism, unattractive conditions, lowered standards etc leads to the forcing of hiring less qualified people.

If you truly want the best of the best, the top dogs who could in the right circumstances succeed in any number of industries or theatres of influence; you have to create a culture of winning and competence.

Yet, Biden/Harris call for more DEI within gov't.

Everything not associated with DEI, illegal immigration, and Ukrainian money-laundering has been completely gutted, deprioritized, and demoralized by the Biden/Harris regime.

Yep, no secret service walking around at all. They were all killed.

The OP is pompous and false.

Our govt is pretty much worthless at this point. Look no further than the non-existent FEMA response to western north carolina. Its beyond appalling and despicable. Our govt can send billions to ukraine and illegals entering this country but it can't offer a damn cent to the legally tax paying citizens. Damn our govt.

Well the BP may as well be called The Walking Dead at this point due to nonexistent morale.

The FJB/FKH administration won't let them do their jobs.....In fact DHS goes out of their way to stifle them.

They probably looked at a 34X convicted felon and said, “I ain’t taking bullet for him”. Can you blame them?

Nah, in all seriousness, the Secret Service has been a troubled organization for years going back to (at least) the Obama administration.

Its too bad about the link it’s behind a paywall. You could have actually read it.

Coming from the guy who supports a 34X convicted felon...your post is insanely funny.

In all fairness, it's probably hard to hire good agents when the Idiot-in-Chief keeps siccing the dogs on them!
