Directly above the center of the Earth
Jets at Browns --- Going to bet against Brownies until they can show they can actually win a game.
Saints at Falcons --- Falcons at home.
Packers at Redskins --- Pukers defense playing pretty well. AD does pretty good against them though.
Colts at Eagles --- Eagles at home. Wentz to start, should be a good game to shake off rust.
Bills at Vikings --- Vikings should win handily.Could be a trap game with them looking ahead to their matchup against the Rams though.
Raiders at Dolphins --- Raiders are a hot mess.
Broncos at Ravens --- Going with the Broncos.
Bengals at Panthers --- Not sold on Bengals. Think Panthers hand them their first loss.
Giants at Texans --- Hard to figure out these teams. Thought they'd each be better than they have been showing. Texassans at home.
Titans at Jaguars --- Jags one of the 2-0 teams that are for real. Jags at home.
Niners at Chiefs --- Chiefs hot right now. Chefs at home.
Chargers at Rams --- Rams another 2-0 team for real. Rams at home.
Cowboys at Seahawks --- How the mighty have fallen.
Bears at Cardinals --- Bears defense quite good. Their offense stinks, but should beat the Cards.
Patriots at Lions --- Pats should rebound against the Kitties.
Steelers at Buccaneers --- Normally I'd go Steelers, but things aren't happy there now, and Fitzmagic still seems to be working. Succaneers at home.

I'm going with the same picks as Papa. I didn't pick until late, so I'll just take a loss for the Thursday game...but the Browns won a game! With Baker Mayfield playing QB!

Good call on the Browns. It's nice to see the Cleveland fans have something to cheer about. They looked totally different with Mayfield at QB. The long drought is over at last.

It must be an underdog thing, but the Browns have been so bad I find myself rooting for them to win. :p

Dont care obviously.Good to see your mug around here again is only reason i popped in.:beer:Dont know anything about that Mayfield QB you mentioned obviously but since you mentioned the Browns, you just may be right that they are FINALLY starting to turn the corner.

Was at a BBQ joint yesterday and they had baseball games on and they posted across the screen many times that the Browns lead the NFL in takeaways. You probably have to go back to the Marty SHITTENHEIMER days the last time THAT occured right?:abgg2q.jpg: may not mean nothing though since their opponent this week the jets they mentioned is second one behind them. The jets are a crappy team so at this point that means nothing. If they do that to a GOOD team like the Chiefs for example,THEN it will mean something.

Man I always knew once the Rams were in LA they would be a good team again knowing Kroneke would get serious about winning out there in LA LA land HOWEVER i never imagined in my wildest imaginations they would be a superbowl favorite this year.

speaking of the matchup of your vikes and my Rams coming up soon,I am so stoked on over that, the fact it will be a prime time game for them at HOME?:banana:I think we both agree that being at home especially,my Rams will win the rematch from them form last year right?

Good luck to your vikes in that game,if they win, they deserve it for sure cause they will have beat a very good team in my LOS ANGELES Rams.:)

I for sure will be rooting for your vikes this year when they are not playing the Rams because I would LOVE more than anything,to see that LOS ANGELES Rams and Vikings rivalry back again which WOULD be renewed again if they faced each other in the playoffs again this year.:)

I was so bummed out last year when they just missed having that playoff rivalry renewed with your vikes last year when they lost to the falcons.:( Barring a key injury to Goff,we know my Rams will be there so that more than anything is WHY I hope your vikes have another successful season and we get to face each other in the playoffs this time around this year.:)

already got the niners rivalry back, now all thats left, just got to get the rivalry with the vikings back.the vikings are looking good so far so there might be a very good chance of that actually.lets hope.:)

Hey, back at ya dude! :beer:Yeah, I'm really looking forward to next Thursday matchup with the Rams. We beat them last year at our house, but we're playing in LA this time. Should be a great matchup between two very good teams.

As far as the Browns go, they have a lot of talent but haven't been able to translate into wins. Don't know if it's a coaching problem, scouting problem, front office problem, ownership, or whatever. Nice to see them get a win after nearly two years. Wish them success, unless of course they're playing against us.

Baker Mayfield was the #1 pick in the draft this year. I thought the Browns reached a little bit. I would have taken Saquan Barkley and then the best QB a couple picks later. Mayfield probably would have still been there. Anyway he looked good last night coming off the bench and leading the Browns to a win.

Anyway here's to a renewed rivalry.

I think the Browns are fine with Carlos Hyde. I wasn't happy with him leaving the Niners, even though he's had injury issues and isn't exactly the type of back Shanahan wants for his offense. With Johnson as a third-down type back, the Browns backfield isn't bad. Besides, they did draft Chubb, who was pretty good in college as well, so far as I've heard.

I also have a bit of an issue with the hype surrounding Barkley. It's not that I think Barkley is a bad RB, but I thought going into the season that he was going to do a lot less than the pundits behind what was a very weak Giants O-line last season. So far, I think I was right in that assessment, but it's still early days. Barkley has a good YPC, but 134 yards over 2 games is nothing special.

The Rams look like the best NFC team so far, maybe the best in the league. The Vikings have been pretty good, but they let the Niners hang close in a game they probably should have dominated, and then had to make a large 4th quarter comeback to tie the Pack. They'll probably settle down as one of the better teams as the season progresses, though.

something i know we BOTH want to see and we will have to keep our fingers crossed,is that for that game, the Rams play in their classic awesome blue and yellow LA colors they always wore. I seriously doubt they will do that though, this is one more reason i hate thursday night football is that thats when they always have teams play in ugly looking unis, that being the case, they will probably have the rams in their gay looking all yellow unis and vikings looking stupid in all purple.:mad:

after you mentioned the part they are playing in LA this time i cant resist mentioning that the NFL is obviously afraid to air charger HOME games on prime time.:abgg2q.jpg:
Both this year and last year the chargers had ZERO prime time home games shown.:laughing0301::lmao:no monday or sunday night football or whats really pathetic,is not even on a thursday night when nobody is watching.comedy gold.:laughing0301::lmao: thats why I wish they had given that matchup of the vikings on a monday night instead.

same as when the Raiders were in LA,the NFL is doing the same thing again, they wont televise charger home games because they are afraid to show the crowds and that the chargers now have SIXTEEN road games every year instead of 7 as they used to in a soccer stadium they cannot fill no less..:lmao::laughing0301:

Only time in San Diego where each year,SD was a road game for them was when the Raiders were in town.. hense why i said 7 and not 8.

Dan Diedorf when he was broadcaster for monday night football from 83 to 91,he said the entire time he was a broadcaster for them, unlike the Rams in the 70's and 80's,the Raiders drew so poorly that their home games were NEVER televised on monday night football. :laughing0301:

Did the NFL really think it would be any different for the chargers? If anything,it will be worse for them there as the whole world is finding out just as i said back then that they would bomb with the fans same as the raiders did and even worse.:cuckoo:

well same thing is happening with the chargers. If they were still in SD,no way on earth would they not have at least one home game on prime time this year after finishing strong last year in the second half and barely missing the playoffs. having that kind of finish and the way their games were always exciting last year, they EASILY would have had at LEAST one home prime time game this year scheduled if they were still in SD and it would have been a monday night game as they always had.:laughing0301::lmao:

oh and i loved the part as well that you mentioned of how the mighty have fallen of the cowboys and seahawks. Looks like prescott was a one hit wonder same as kordell stewart of the steelers and the seahawk players have totally lost confidance in carrol for one obvious reason and wilson for being the coward he is as i explained here.:lmao:

Rift already starting with Seahawks players and pete carrol.LOL

I used to think wilson was going to be one of the greatest ever but he doesnt impress me anymore. Give me Goff any day of the year.HE is something special that I thought wilson would always be.

Good call on the Browns. It's nice to see the Cleveland fans have something to cheer about. They looked totally different with Mayfield at QB. The long drought is over at last.

Good call? More like luck and it had to happen sooner or later, so why not the Jets. LOL!

Lets not get too carried away with the LOS ANGELES Rams being the best team in the league just yet. Remember the two teams they beat were really crappy teams in the Oakland Faiders and the st louis cardinals.two very crappy teams.

We really wont have a gauge on the Rams on just how good they really are until that Vikings game when they will finally have faced a GOOD team.If they go out and play the same way against the VIKINGS as they did the cards last week,THEN it will be a safe bet to say they may be the best team in the league.:)

after you mentioned the part they are playing in LA this time i cant resist mentioning that the NFL is obviously afraid to air charger HOME games on prime time.:abgg2q.jpg:

In all fairness to Dak Prescott, the cowpie receivers aren't much to talk about any more without Dez Bryant and Jason Witten. He's going to look pretty ordinary without good receivers to throw to. Wilson, I think, is still a very good QB. The Seachix have run into the point where cap hell and age have forced them to release good players. They'll have to rebuild or reload to compete, and no telling if they ever get to the top again any time soon. Plug Goff behind Seattle's line, and he'd probably get killed. Put Wilson in Goff's situation with a good line, a great back and good receivers, he'd be having success too, IMHO.

For all intents and purposes Russel Wilson is the Seahawks offense at this point. With a porous offensive line, little running game, and a top wide receiver who can't stay on the field, Wilson is doing pretty well. Goff doesn't have the same mobility, so I agree that he'd likely be getting killed playing in Wilson's place.

Pretty early to call any team the best in the league. There are some teams that look real hot now, but will probably have mediocre records come playoff time.

Tennessee at Jacksonville - Titans looked good last week but this week they play a very good Jag team.
San Francisco at Kansas City - Chiefs have the hot QB
LA Chargers at the LA Rams - Best talented team in the NFL are the Rams
Dallas at Seattle - Seahawks in a home win and I'm not real sure about this
Chicago at Arizona - Cardinals are not looking good and the Bears defense is good.
New England at Detroit - Pats should take home this road game, Lions aren't looking good.

Monday Night Football
Pittsburgh at Tampa Bay - Fitz is hot, Steelers are not.
Good call on the Browns. It's nice to see the Cleveland fans have something to cheer about. They looked totally different with Mayfield at QB. The long drought is over at last.

Green Bay at Washington - The one legged QB wins this one
Indianapolis at Philadelphia - Wentz gets the Eagles back on track.

NY Giants at Houston - Giants lose the second of their Texas two step.
Tennessee at Jacksonville - Titans looked good last week but this week they play a very good Jag team.

Anyway here's to a renewed rivalry.

after you mentioned the part they are playing in LA this time i cant resist mentioning that the NFL is obviously afraid to air charger HOME games on prime time.:abgg2q.jpg:

Put Wilson in Goff's situation with a good line, a great back and good receivers, he'd be having success too, IMHO.

yeah you aint kidding about having to rebuild. I look at their roster and Earl Thomas is the only one on defense of a name i recognize.LOL yeah I agree that Goff would not have the success he is having behind seattles line and wilson would be more successful behind the Rams line as well but as i said,it is true that the patriots lost confidance in carrol and thats when they stopped being a contender and many former seahawks players have come out and said they are glad they are not playing for him anymore and he is in their rear view mirror.

however wilson is still making idiotic costly decisions like the interception against the bears with no pressure on him at the time also it looks pretty clear cut they have lost confidance in carrol same as they did in new england and are going downhill. Like i said, who in their right mind would want to play for that asshole carrol now? I dont know why anybody possibly would want to.

wilson reminds me of brett farve,an exceptional talent but could have been in more superbowls if he did not screw up with so many idiotic costly crucial decisions that cost his team the game in many playoffs.he looks to be a black version of him.LOL so i guess i take back the part of a one hit wonder like kordell stewart.more like farve.LOL

I agree, Wilson has no protection and no real receivers, no running game, Wilson is the Seahawk’s offense and is the only reason they are in any games at this point. He threw an interception last game but it the pressure is too much. 12 sacks on an agile running QB spells no offensive line. This team has little talent and Wilson, as much as I hate Seattle and tend Wilson, it is not Wilson’s fault, it is his team is bad. Put him in KC or Dallas and he’d thrive.

Pretty early to call any team the best in the league. There are some teams that look real hot now, but will probably have mediocre records come playoff time.

The best talent overall is the LA Rams, whether it will translate into wins or a deep playoff run depends on coaching and chemistry, however anything less than Super Bowl appearance would be a bad year.

God I'm pissed at Bill Obrien!!!!!!
The dumbfuck goes away from what was an offense that was scoring 35 a game to some bullshit offense that he thinks needs to be run.
He's no different than that arrogant fuck Kubiak!!!

I've been wondering what's been going on with the Texans. Last year they were tearing it up until injuries cost them the season. Now that everyone is relatively healthy and available to play, they're playing like shit. What gives?
