NYC Bar Association Issues Stunning Rebuke Of Bill Barr, Asks For Congressional Investigation

For all those dismissing this, no attorney wants to be disbarred. I don’t know know how many states Barr is admitted to practice in, but if he loses his New York License he loses his right to practice law thus his job. The NYS Bar is right to investigate Barr for the violation of his oath and unethical behavior.

Are you high, a federal prosecutor can practice in any federal court, they don't need to be admitted to the State bar because they don't do State cases.

.
WRONG! You have to be admitted to at least one state bar or the District of Columbia bar before you can be admitted to the federal bar. That is why I asked how many bars Barr was admitted to.

Generally speaking, disbarment in one jurisdiction will lead to disbarment is all jurisdictions you are a member. But not always.

So tell the class what court you expect Barr to practice in? Doesn't he have lawyers to do that? And yeah anyone who can call themselves a lawyer has to pass the bar in some State, but they don't have to be admitted to a State bar to practice in a federal court within any State.

.
As I wrote you need to be a member in good standing in at least one state bar or the DC bar to practice in federal court. You can practice in any federal court regardless of the state. But if you lose your law license that right vanishes to practice in federal court.

If Barr is only admitted to one Bar and he is disbarred, he can not practice law in that state or in federal court of any state. If he belongs to the bar of more than one state, he can continue to practice law in federal court in any state but obviously not in the state that disbarred him.

If Barr is disbarred and he is not a member of any other bars, he cannot be attorney general. You need to have a valid law license to be attorney general. Just like a doctor who loses their medical license, he can not be the chief of surgery at a hospital, the same applies to a lawyer and attorney general.

He may however get a job as a paralegal at the DOJ.
This is a city thing, not a state thing.

Moron.

New York City Bar can take a drive to a bar and suck a dick.
Talk about being partisans fuck the partisan bastards.

The Justice Department's job is defend the nations laws. Barr's Justice Department is acting against the Affordable Care Act and asking the Supreme Court to declare the ACA unConstitutional, despite Americans voting in favour of the ACA all three times it has been on the ballot: 2008, 2012, and 2018.
Link to Obamacare being on the ballot?

I missed that.

You want to take Barr’s license? Good luck with that. And your evidence is? Oh yeah, nothing. You just don’t like Dims being held responsible for their crimes.

Big fucking deal. They are easily the most progressive and corrupt group of lawyers on the planet.
Haha as if you know jack shit about them. Give me a break.

And yes, it's a pretty big deal.

No, it ain't. They are a hugely partisan group, and Barr is fucking up their money making schemes which involve screwing over the American Public. Shit, I remember when liberals actually cared about people. Which means you ain't a liberal, you are yet another partisan, progressive whore who only cares about power, and how to screw over the middle class.
Lol..you obviously haven’t a clue how the Bar works.
Clear it up for us.
I would but not to fucking morons like yourself.

The New York City Bar Association has asked Congress to investigate U.S. Attorney General William Barr, saying his recent actions and statements have positioned the Justice Department and its prosecutors as “political partisans willing to use the levers of government to empower certain groups over others.”

The request disclosed on Thursday appears to be the first time the New York bar or any comparable bar association has asked Congress to investigate a sitting attorney general.

NYC Bar Association Asks Congress to Investigate AG Barr for Bias

Barr draws a U.S. Treasury check which means he is paid by our tax dollars - not Trump's money, not right wing money, dollars from all Americans. Yet, he is representing Trump's interests while spitting on ours. This man should be disbarred.....and no, that's not a play on words.

Nationally, they're a duck fart in the wind.

Perhaps, but this is yet another attempt to stop Trump in his tracks. Back in October, these same people were asking Barr to get out of the association and stop looking into Ukraine.

These are a branch of the leftist control freaks, who feel they run the country and always will. It doesn't matter how we vote. If their Congress can't stop us, their commie judges will. If their commie judges can't, they'll impeach whoever. If they can't impeach who gets in their way, their bogus bar association will try to get involved. Nazi mentality.

In the meantime, after Barr read the request.
