Obama is:
-- the man who surrounds himself with and seeks the advice of only the radical left and worse
--the man who redistributes (loots) the earnings of the producers to the non-producers so they will continue to vote for him
--the man who is spending and manipulating the greatest country on earth into financial collapse.
--the man who speaks of "social justice" but never of freedom.
--the man who hates free market capitalism.
--the man who prevents the development of our oil, coal & nuclear resources.
--the man who rejects the Constitution.
--the man who initiates force against us all by “mandating” his vision of health care. A true despot.

He is, at best, a vile & cheap Chicago left-wing "community agitator".

Blah blah blah

Maybe you can come up with a few thoughts of your own rather than just repeating the far right mantra.

Yes, I agree. It has occurred to me that certain right wingers simply say these things ("Obama: A monumental disgrace") because those were the things said about GW Bush, and they assume they should now be able to say them about Obama, a tit for tat kind of thing. The reality is, however, that those kinds of statements were true in the case of GW Bush, they are not true for Obama. He many not be perfect or the best president we've ever had, but a monumental disgrace he is not. Whereas the entire world saw GW Bush in that way: a monumental failure and disgrace.

-He does not surround himself with the radical left; in fact, many left of center see him as somewhat right of center on many issues.
--It was GW Bush whose administration led the country to financial collapse; Obama has been slowly repairing that, and the economy is improving. Around the world the recession is causing trouble in almost all countries, which they are not able to fix over night. To expect Obama to fix the economy in a few years is very foolish. No one else can do it; why should the American president be expected to?
--Social justice and freedom go hand in hand. Stop thinking in black and white extremes.
--To say he hates free market capitalism is just plain silly, not even worth responding to.
--More oil is being internally produced than ever in our country. Do a little research.
--Apparently by the 'rejects the Constitution" you mean he wants stricter gun control laws: that isn't rejecting the constitution: he has not proposed rescinding the 2nd Amendment or taking away the right to own a firearm.
--"His vision of health care" is not his vision alone. The natiional health care program was developed together with the Republicans; in fact, it is the program it is because Obama had to make so many concessions and compromises to suit the Republicans: that is what weakened it--having to make absurd compromises to satisfy the Republicans.

Obama has disappointed me on many levels.

Financial collapse? I dunno. The deficit is high still. Let's look at the trend though. I could stand some more Wall Street regulations as that place is the source of our last two collapses. Even the darn oil embargoes could not cause as much pain as Wall Street.

His surveillance systems and continuation of the Patriot Act for example are disgusting. The Bush's as much as I disagreed could keep scandals behind closed doors or just did ridiculous things like Gitmo which once again Obama hasn't closed. Then again my congressman has some reluctance to let it get rebuilt in my neighbor's back yards as they complain about it. But gee, am I supposed to think the Republican "tough on terror" party of the Patriot Act is going to repeal it?

Obama's vision of healthcare is just admitting the old system was socialist and forcing folks to pay for it. If you disagree tell me, a poor uninsured man who lives in an apartment get shot in 1985 and goes to the hospital, who pays for it? Yup, you and me have been. At least under the new system (which may be too complicated) the potential freeloader will have to have insurance anytime he gets an even reasonable job or be fined.

Rejecting free market capitalism? Let's go bail out some banks with Ronald Reagan. If you can't tell, I hate the decision not to let paper companies fail but let's spread blame where it is due.

Constitution - see Patriot Act party.

Obama is not as different as many had hoped you are right.

I think it's like Christmas and little kids (or marriage for adults, lol): Far too much was expected from an ordinary man, especially considering the mess he inherited. When so much is expected, there will be disappointment.

All you naysayers are just too kind. Obama is as bad as the OP says he is...and then some. Obama is a goddamned Marxist and consummate liar. He has deceived the world in his narcissistic fraud. He is no more Presidential than Alfred E. Newman or Daffy Duck. He is, however well into his quest to "fundamentally transform" the United States...into a third world socialist state. That is NOT what he was elected to do. He was elected to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States...now he is its worst enemy.

Inherited?? What, was he next in line for a Kingship?

He CAMPAIGNED for his inheritance - dipshit. Twice.
We're still waiting for some hope and change.

Nitwit.

Spoken like a true Obama jock-sniffer.
U can avoid the reality that is Obama, but u cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding that reality. Just look at the state of our economy and the massive increase in gov. size & scope.

Just the way we are running from a "threat" from terrorists shows how far we have fallen.

I'm curious, Essie...do you really not know Barack Obama's track record on these things?

Take your claim that more oil is being produced internally than ever in our country! Yes, technically that's true but even a cursory look at the issue shows that on lands that Barack Obama has control over the amount of oil produced is way DOWN. The place where it is up substantially is on lands that Barry doesn't control.

So are you just ignorant of what's REALLY going on with oil and natural gas production under Barack Obama...or have you chosen to deliberately mislead people who come to this board?

And the "concessions" you speak of in ObamaCare weren't made to garner the votes of Republicans...they were made to garner the votes of DEMOCRATS!!! Or have you forgotten the deals that were cut with Democrats like Ben Nelson, John Kerry and Mary Landrieux? Or the deals that were made with labor unions?

Once again...are you simply forgetful...or are you deliberately misleading?

What he inherited was govt. stifling the economy. He's only taken that to the nth degree. You don't need to be a college graduate to understand that.
