In 2008 I voted for Barack Obama hoping for a change that never came. All the progressive promises and proposals never came true. In 2012 I returned to the Republican party because I was tired of being lied to, Obama was never a progressive who wanted to change anything.

The income inequality under Reagan, Clinton and Bush that he campaigned to fix was a lie. All he did was give billions to corporations and banks, with no relief for the middle class.

The war he was going to end never ended. He continued the campaign in Mesopotamia. He expanded our drone war that Bush began. He didn't end torture of detainees, he just found an end run around the problem with rendition. We still have thousands of troops in Afghanistan. We tried regime change in Libya.

On civil liberties Obama allowed Bush's patriot act to be reauthorized.

On climate change he failed us miserably. From 2008 til 2015 domestic oil and gas production soared and the price of dirty fuel plunged to 15 year lows.

Obama has in no way been a champion of liberal principles. He has been an extension of George Bush

I almost forgot the most colossal disaster of a policy.

Bob Dole/Mitt Romney's healthcare plan that has done nothing but line the pockets of insurance and pharma companies while completely screwing the middle class

Buyer's remorse. Don't repeat you same mistake, anyone other then Mrs Tuluza.

I was a huge Ron Paul supporter in 2012, as I said I returned to the GoP in 2012.

No I will not be voting for Hilary Clinton. On the GoP side I like Kasick and on the Democratic ticket I like Sanders but neither will win the general

Translation... "I was tired of being lied to and let down by Democrats so I decided to be lied to and let down by Republicans" , some people will never learn.

"It's the Duopoly Stupid"

Obama was the first Democrat I ever voted for, before Obama I was an avid Republican voter

How's what working? Voting for Obama in 2008? Overall my financial situation has improved over the past 7 years, I am much better off then the bush years

I vote issues more than party because we now only have 1 party. The past 2 elections I have forced myself to do substantially more policy research before making a decision

Which makes no sense at all. obama has raised taxes. Yes he continued the Bush era cuts except for the highest earners, because he had to. It comes from having a Republican congress. His progressive agenda has heaped on increasing business regulations, his appointments to the Supreme Court has moved it left to close to a majority at this point. His foreign policy is pathetic, bailed out of Iraq for politics and helped ISIS become the problem it is. He rammed his socialistic health care down our throats which screwed many. No Republican voted for it.

If you are making more money now, it isn't because of obama, it's in spite of him. More and underemployed or unemployed now than since the 70s. obama is a Republican but you went back to the GOP because you were disappointed he wasn't progressive enough? You are either a really stupid liar or you're just jerking us around.

That's nice, I'm glad your complicity in the whole Duopoly Racket paid off for you personally, unfortunately while you were profiting the American Economy continued it's bleeding albeit at an even faster pace, individual liberty suffered severe degradation and the debt to be dumped on future generations continued to pile sky high.

Way to go! I hope you're pleased with yourself.

Dude, Barrack Obama isn't a Republican in disguise...he's a naive community organizer pretending to be a President! What did you expect? I mean seriously. Look at his history! The man has used the "status" of being the first black President of the Harvard Law Review to skate through his adult life. He was a nondescript lawyer...a nondescript college instructor...a nondescript legislator...and yet he kept getting better jobs? How did that happen? BECAUSE PEOPLE LIKE YOU DIDN'T SEE THROUGH THE BULLSHIT!

On foreign policy? He's definitely he has been Republican in nature. However on national issues, he has been purely progressive or at the very least liberal. I do agree though bailing out the banks and corporations was very Republican of him.

Oldstyle is, methinks, describing himself as he projects on Obama, just nondescript.

When did he bail out the banks? GM, yes, which wasn't exactly a Republican theme either. The OP is seriously mixed up or just having fun.
