Well it seems you have no concept of the situation facing millenials so I will explain it to you.

Back in the day, baby boomers were able to get jobs and be trained at that job to do other tasks. Today that is rarely the case.

Today, to get a number of jobs, you need a college degree.

Sure - you need a degree to become an engineer or architect or doctor or something serious like that. But a degree in sociology or history doesn't qualify you for any job and the idiots that get degrees in that crap just wasted their money and i say hell with them.

Colleges and universities offer lots of degree programs that are utterly ridiculous, moronic students borrow scads of money to buy the worthless pieces of parchment, and then they wonder why there's no job opportunities in their 'areas of expertise.' Fact is college is NOT that expensive. If you go to a state college, tuition is around 5k a year!!! Don't tell me about room and board - you're gonna be eating and sleeping whether you go to college or not.

Problem is lots of morons insist on going to some college 3 states over and then the tuition is like 12k a year.

Then how are people going to learn about medieval history or make discoveries of fossils? People should have the freedom to choose what they want to do with their lives. Some people are better at English than Science. So why should they be forced to study something they aren't good at?

People should have the freedom to decide what career they want to do. I have seen art majors get a job quicker than an engineering student. It's all about what you know and who you know.
