You would think the first Black President would have made Black problems a priority. I think you are being kind. He had a vision to "transform America" and he actively pursued that vision by forcing the ACA, DACA, inflaming Racial hatred, inviting the Muslim Brotherhood to the WH, vilifying the successful etc.

I don't see him as inflaming racial hatred so much as his election brought racists out of the wood works from the get. As I have posted previously one of those obscure bits of 9/11 trivia is that the Congress was to take up the DACA issue that week in bipartisan legislation expected to pass by hefty margins and then came the hijackers and it never got taken up thereafter.He was a POTUS who sat in his Ivory Tower and expected people to come bow before him. He wasn't willing to mix it up with Harry Reid. The first 2 years of Obama's Presidency were pretty much Reid's Presidency.

This is a good article on this, it didn’t start with Trump, but has been a long battle. Glad Trump signed it. If another president had signed it I am sure he would attacked by the right for being soft on crime. It is a much needed reform.

Democrats don't want to solve problems. They want the ISSUE. If a problem is solved there is no issue. Republicans solve problems, that's their strength. Democrats point out what's wrong with our country, then blame Republicans for the problem and say they will solve it but they never do. They just keep blaming the Republicans. Trump proved this when he offered to give a path to citizenship to more DACAs than the Dems asked for. Then they rejected the offer (because they don't WANT a solution, they want a problem).
