Obama’s Presidency is failing. Not personal, just the facts

And if the Constitution allowed him to run a 3rd term he'd win decisively...and you fucking know it.

That's a big IF. Hell would have to freeze over first before the bottom falls out of the bond market. And given the circumstances, there is no why that this isn't going to happen before he leaves office. When that does, the combined powers of Clinton, Obama and Hillary won't be enough.

The Democrats will win again in 2016. Easily.

Sure. Why not? Both parties have been miserable disappointments thus far. Might as well stick with the party people know are going to be an utter disappointment. Rather than give your hopes up on the other guy, only to find out that he is a grave disaster too.

Obama's successor will be faced with devoting 25% of the federal budget to servicing the nation debt. But it's all about winning elections, right?

You're so cool. Its so cool to be a cynic. So cool.

now weren't we losing 500 Million jobs a month according to the most senior lady in the Obama Administration back in 2009? Great Choice by the Democrats, Just like the great Choice for a Rep chosen by Callyfornian's who said that we are gonna lose 170 Million jobs if "The Seckester" goes thru.

Fact: Real unemployment is higher than when Obama took office.
Untrue.

Fact: Household income is lower than when Obama took office.
Fact: Household wealth is lower than when Obama took office.
True

Fact: MOre people are on foodstamps than before Obama took office.
Fact: More people are on disability than when Obama took office.
True, but there are also more people overall. You'd have to show that there was a significant percentage change not attributable to other factors.
Fact: The U.S. credit rating is lower than when Obama took office.
Fact: Gas prices are higher than when Obama took office.
Fact: The deficit is higher than when Obama took office.
Fact: The national debt is higher than when Obama took office.
True, but the President has no control over gas prices unless he wants to do something stupid like impose price ceilings. And for most of the facts, they're attributable to the recession, which started a year before Obama took office, so if you want to specifically blame him, we have to go away from facts and into the realm of what policies would have worked better, which is trheoretical and speculative.

I'm no Obama supporter, and I certainly believe that different poliicies would have worked better, but that doesn't make it fact.

When historians write about Obama 20 years from now, I have very little doubt he will go down as a mediocre President at best.
In 50 years, he will be lost in time. Nothing remarkable or terrible. Unless something remarkable happens he will not be remembered. He is very much a run-of-the-mill post-modern American politician. Full of shit, and equally corrupt.

Obama has an historic presidency....he had it from the day he was elected (race card!, race card!)

As a president, he will be evaluated on three things:

What challenges did you face?
How did you respond to those challenges?
What was the lasting impact of your presidency

Obama will do well on all three and be considered a top 10 president

Said the deaf guy with double-thick rose colored glasses.
Why can't you just see good and bad rather than apply a filter based on what party is involved??
Like Bush - Obama is ignoring corruption in the financial system, rather - again like Bush - he would rather blow $1 trillion a year of taxpayer dollars in buying their toxic assets and bond buying to prop up the system. Historians will not be kind about this. Obama is also engaging in reckless money printing. During this administration social programs have sky-rocketed, unemployment pay-outs at record levels - all to maintain the facade that the economy is better off than it is. Also - Obamacare fallout will be significant, the truth about Benghazi will be known - and that isn't going to be pretty either.

What challenges did Obama face?
Collapsing Economy
Two wars
Terrorist threat
Arab Spring

How did he respond to those challenges
Prevented a depression, saved auto companies and banks, added millions of jobs
Ended both wars
Killed binLaden and dozens of AlQueda leaders
Established international coalition to resolve conflicts in Eqypt, Libya without loss of American lives

What was the lasting impact of his presidency
Obamacare
Repealing DADT

Top ten presidency

Again - says the blind guy with double-thick rose colored glasses.
"Saved" Auto companies...whatever...he saved the Unions not the industry.
He most certainly did not "end both wars"...tell that to the guys still over there.
Resolved Egypt - holy cow - I think this remains to be seen for Christ sake - and you posted quite a bit about Bush's "Mission Accomplished blunder" - yet here you are..
Killed Bin Laden and dozens others...that does not lie at the President's feet - no matter who is President. That is the result of military intelligence and the men and women of the military who carried it out. The President sat and watched it happen.

Yes and Lincoln did not actually free the slaves and Hitler never killed 6 million Jews

No comparison.
Obama has about 1/1000th the power of Hitler who had absolute rule.
Obama has about 1/10th the power of Lincoln.

You people have been saying that since the moment he was elected the first time.

And he got re-elected quite handily.

If he were re-elected "handily" he'd have a mandate and wouldn't be a lame duck already. Moderate Democrats are already bolting and the next three plus years are going to be reactive and defensive, ensuring a very mediocre legacy.

I will grant obama one success.

He took thousands of full time jobs and replaced them with millions of part time jobs.

not sure what the equal pay for equal work means?
that we had before
Mostly the tax payer saved GM
but the event (UAW BTW) was a GWB event. In fact the last 350 billion of tarp that GWB gets blamed fo on his defict(s) BHO used 60 billion of that
Anyway the event took place under GWB admin that saved the UAW (GM)

Obama-care?
his own people are bailing
Blog: Democrats losing faith in Obamacare

Tax breaks?
That only occurs when they are permanent
we are using GWB rate still on income below 400k-450k
BHO raised taxes on the middle class

GWB eneded the war in Iraq
Iraq War ends on Bush?s schedule, not Obama?s | RedState

on lies and deciet
GWB saved GM (tax payer)
Enhanced Intel got UBL
Benghazi, huge cover up. same lying ended Nixon
defict 60-70% his, not GWB
closer to 90% now
(based on last GOP budget of 2.7 trillion vs first BHO budget and dem congress of 3.5 trallion 24 months later, no jobs)

So many liberal deflectiins in this thread. It's as if they have no argument to articulate against the op.

Ie...OBL is dead and GM is alive.....really? Who gives a fuck. Where are the jobs?
