read his denial you idiot. it has nothing to do with gas prices or not wanting the oil, it had to do with the aquifer in nebraska. he told transcanada to come up with a new route. he never said he wouldnt approve the pipeline. maybe a little research and reading comprehension would help you out significantly.he denied a permit dumb fuck, he never said he wouldnt ever allow it.
youre a fucking retard. if he was really against it, why would he be fast tracking the southern section?
Probably because he sees gas prices sky rocketing and knows that he'll be held accountable for blocking that project. Just for the record..if you deny something, that means you said no.
A person sure can tell it's an election year. Obama is desperate with damage control regarding energy. Make no mistake about it.

The President really stepped in shit on this issue. Sorry. It's just the truth. And he has really really truly pissed off the Unions who wanted the work.
You're just going to have to deal with facts instead of fairy tales woven out of the White House.
Obama screwed up big time.

“As it became clearer and clearer that this was more gamesmanship by Republicans, we knew we had to make our positions clear on this also,” said CWA’s Johnson.
Republicans readily pointed to support for the pipeline from major unions — including the Teamsters and their membership of more than 1 million workers.
On the other side, critics of the pipeline were represented mainly by the relatively tiny Transport Workers Union and Amalgamated Transit Union — who represent nearly 400,000 workers combined. But that seesaw game changed Wednesday, most notably with SEIU — which has close to 2 million members — coming out to oppose the project.
AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka has acknowledged the division among his unions on the pipeline.

That being posted. The pipeline will be built. Gas prices will continue to rise. The sun will come up in the east.......

Indeed. This is all about himself and his popularity. He's lying and thinks it's cute. It will catch up to him soon enough.Obama to fast track southern portion of Keystone XL Pipeline The 1600 Report - CNN.com Blogs
Guess all those on the right who thought Obama was totally against the Keystone Pipeline were wrong....
Sorry... but they were right... he was against it, so don't lie, asswipe... the kenyan just figures this might help his reelection chances...

Yep. Even the Unions were flabberghasted/upset that he nixxed it. Maybe the Union bosses got to him and told him to stop the narcisscism crap.So the point is the other union brothers finally got the message that they'd screwed over their own for enviro whackos.

I haven't had time to drive another thread I put up, but the oil workers are going to protest Obama's visit. (I'm trying to get some spinach planted and do some yard work. You know. Normal stuff. Not trying to save the planet one post at a time )
You bet they are angry. And they know what a hypocrite he is.
Check this out.
Thompson says, "The President is using this, frankly, as a publicity stunt to say he's doing something against high gas prices."
Cantrell says, "We take exception to the hypocrisy of standing before the largest crude oil facility in the world and saying anything about energy."
Thompson and others in the industry are planning to be in Payne County with their equipment as a protest to what the President has to say.
