2. Immigration reform in his first year
2. Syrian red lines
3. Near a dozen deadlines to the ACA
5. Russian ultimatums

And that's just the tip of the iceberg

Any why the hell doesn't the GOP take him to court for arbitrarily changing laws without congressional approval? Fear of public backlash? Just looking the other way till they have a chance to rule in this manner? Some tactical reason they aren't sharing?

Obama didn't promise to get it passed but he did promise that the legislation would be drafted and he would put his weight behind it.

He told this to a group of Hispanics. He said to them that people are always making promises to them in order to get their vote and then not following through, but he wouldn't be that guy. He made a specific and solemn vow to throw his political might behind comprehensive immigration legislation within the first year of his presidency.

But guess what, he is that guy.



And shame on the media for not broadcasting that from the rooftops they way they did with anything they could possibly use to drag Republicans down.





p.s., Obama had both houses of Congress. Not that that should matter since he made the solemn promise before he knew he would have both houses, but he did have both houses and still he didn't keep his promise. He is that guy.

The American people almost stopped O-Care. The wave of opposition against it was so great among the masses that liberal Massachusetts voted to send a Republican to the Senate to stop it.

But Democrats didn't give a damn about what the people wanted. The people are against what we're doing? They've elected enough people to stop us? We'll show them. Time for parliamentary tricks.
