Socialism and U.S. sanctions are not synonymous with a successful economy. If you paralyze an economy because a country doesn't implement your desired government, doesn't give the U.S. implementing sanctions, the right to claim that government has failed. It also doesn't give that same country sanctioning another, the moral high ground to talk about its humanitarian concerns, when that same country caused the humanitarian crisis to begin with.

And one other thing, there was no election. Guaido was placed there by the U.S. So no, the Venezuela people did not get what they voted for, because there was no vote.

You are boasting about how Socialism does not work, and I am telling you that no government policy works when you hijack a system by way of sanctions. That would be great if AOC could explain her vision of socialism and how her pie in the sky Green New Deal was feasible on any rational scale, either economically or as a practical matter just getting from point A to point B.
