In the debate Biden said “Antifa is an idea”....

I think that was a mistake by him.

I don't think it was totally inaccurate when taking the context into account. I think the comparison was with it being an "organization". I think he was trying to say that it's just a group of idiots being idiots rather than a centralized organization. Something like that.

It didn't come across well and I ultimately chalk it up as a mistake and an even bigger missed opportunity to reiterate some of his previous comments on looting and rioting.

Biden rolled out an even firmer statement on the violence on Sunday, calling the violence in Portland “unacceptable” and stating, “I condemn the violence unequivocally,” adding “whether on the left or the right.”

“I challenge Donald Trump to do the same,” Biden added, possibly taking aim at Trump for applauding a caravan of his supporters who were caught on video tear gassing protesters and shooting them with paintballs and for not immediately condemning Kyle Rittenhouse, a 17-year-old Trump supporter charged with homicide for shooting protesters in Kenosha.

He had a chance to double down on this and he whiffed in my opinion. Not necessarily condemn-worthy, but still a mistake. My $0.02.
And Nadler? Calling the riots a myth. The party will be in charge come January. If more riots occur what will they do in your opinion? Can no longer blame DJT.
LOL

You're still lying about Democrats calling the riots a myth?? Nadler called the claim that it was Antifa, a myth. He never said the riots were a myth.
I posted a link that said otherwise. Too bad you can’t read. Stupid walking corpse.

LOLOLOL

You're such a fucking retard, ShortBus. From your own link...

Fletcher: There’s violence across the whole country. Do you disavow the violence from Antifa that’s happening in Portland right now? There’s riots—
Nadler: That’s a myth that’s being spread only in Washington, D.C.
Fletcher: About Antifa in Portland?
Nadler: Yes.

Nadler said Antifa causing the violence in Portland was a myth.

So who was causing it? You and I ?

Wasn't me, I can tell you that. Still, according to the video you posted, Nadler did not call riots a myth.

But thanks for again showing the forum why I call you, "ShortBus."

:abgg2q.jpg:

My bad. Wasn’t me either. Do you believe it was Antifa? In your opinion.

"Antifa" is not a thing. Not a noun. Therefore you can't use it as a predicate adjective.

You could call it a "movement" if you like but movements by definition cannot commit an action or make a statement. You'd have to be a noun to do that.

Antifa is an organization of individuals who use thuggery and commit terror acts in the name of Anarchy. Maybe if you read newspapers instead of burning them you would have a clue about what they really are.

Who's the leader of Antifa?

Here are some links for you to educate yourself:

They are factions with leadership spread out among the factions.

Wait for it...wait for it....Faun and his sophomoric insults begin: NOW!

None of those article identify any leaders. One is a college professor with no links to Antifa. Another is about some guy who calls himself 'Commander Red' but in no way is the commander of any faction of Antifa.

So there is no leader. No Hierarchy. No organization.

FBI Director Wray is correct, it's an ideology, not an organization.

Are there actually people there who commit crimes? Yes or No? Do they organize locally? Yes or No?

It is? Can you show me one state that has certified?

If you think the result will change, then prepare to be disappointed again.

You lost.
I actually Hope you are correct because if you’re not it will show a major flaw in our elections and there will be riots galore in the streets with massive amounts of damage and deaths. Which would be ridiculously stupid and sad.

I’m confident in it.

Trump supporters are just in denial because they lost.

Was Al Gore in denial for 37 days, and two SC rulings?

Did that outcome change? No.

Never said it did. However, it was Gore’s right to challenge, just as it is Trump’s right today...This rush to declare, and have Trump concede smacks of Democrats knowing they cheated, and are trying to have people not look at it too closely...Speaks volumes to me.

I don’t care if you look at it closely. Im just saying that you’re in denial. They always call a winner before all the recount stuff.

Were you celebrating on Election Day in 2016 when Trump was declared the winner? Or were you concerned with some bullshit conspiracy theory then too?
To be fair, this was the first election with such a large number of mail in votes. Not the case in 2016.

Well then they aren't just an idea. When I was with a client at the Green Dragon, they actually demanded I not go there because that restaurant hosted a pro 2nd amendment dinner the night before. It was minor thuggery. More than just an idea. I of course laughed at them but others may have been intimidated.

If it is an idea, as you claim, then it is a very bad idea.

I think it doesn't even matter at this point.

GOP kept the Senate, so Pelosi et al won't be able to push through any rabidly socialist policy.

Aside from that, I think the presidential election is trivial since Biden and Trump don't particularly differ much at all in terms of major policy.

I mean, what's Biden gonna do? Outspend Trump? lolol. Trump's already the highest spender in American history. It's trivial. Biden has supported every war. We have more troops in the middle east now than we did when Trump took office. Biden has been a supporter of Wall Street and the too big to fail banks. So has Trump. Biden has pandered the healthcare lobbyists. So has Trump. Republicans tend to incorrectly call the dem's healthcare plans socialist, but in reality its fascist and the republicans are no different in that regard, their plan is equally as fascist. Not that they should be involved in it anyway, but that doesn't stop em. And we're still stuck paying the principle plus interest on all of that debt, so any speak of lowering taxes is laughable. Our purchasing power is next to nill while our savings are equally devalued as a consequence.

It's not like anything's gonna change. It's really only a contest to see who gets to drop the hammer on us. People don't run for office at that level of politics to change things. They do it because they want to satisfy their desire for power over people.

Meh...

My two biggest issues, I want uncle Sam to keep his dirty hands off my taxes and my guns. That's where Biden differs.
Don't forget your property. The marxists are specifically after that.

To be fair, this was the first election with such a large number of mail in votes. Not the case in 2016.

And?
And comparing the two is dishonest. Way to be unifying. You know what I meant.

Why does that detail make a difference to you?
Because there is a much larger chance of fraud or errors when you decrease in person voting. Trump garnered more in person votes in swing states but significantly fewer mail in ballots. All may be legitimate but the optics look bad and it causes division as you see here on this site.

That is concerning. What I don't want is a civil war. I'd rather have Biden in office than face that but you have ~71mil who are somewhat dubious so it behooves us to get to the bottom of this and explain it clearly to the people.

Based on what?

Conservatives have been complaining about voter fraud every election and have advocated for voter ID laws when voting in person, claiming that millions of illegal immigrants voted.

Based on the fact when you walk in you confirm your address and you get a receipt. At least I did in MA. When you mail it in you have to confirm signatures, etc.

And someone can't walk in and claim to be their neighbor?

You're not presenting a good argument as to why there is a much larger chance of fraud with mail-in voting as opposed to in-person voting.

They may but there is a much greater chance to get caught as in smaller towns many people know one another and voting is divided by precincts. If you get caught you're going to jail. Tougher on mail in voting. I am not trying to present a "good argument" I am just giving you facts and you're seeing the result play out live and in living color.
