Ron Unz is a lifelong Republican but-----but unlike the rightwing extremists that have taken over the Republican party, he's educated-----he's educated and-----and he knows how to do arithmetic and-----and "Using what he sees as conservative principles", Mr. Unz sees how the US can save billions of tax dollars by lifting low-wage Americans above the poverty level so they no longer qualify for public assistance - who knows, maybe this creative software giant will create a website, something like, ObamaRepublicansdotorg or some such.

Question: why are rightwing extremists against saving taxpayers a ton-o-dough?

It is not saving taxpayers dough. That is the part you dont get. You think raising wages will simply raise wages. You cannot think beyond Stage One because you think companies have troughs of money lying around not doing anything. This is because you never ran a business.
