Oh boy, here we go again, will there be rioting tonight in Chicago?

Chicago is a war zone. I can’t imagine being a cop there.

So will Mayor Beetlejuice resign because of her failure?

Who knows....:dunno:

What does the video show? It shows that once again the police lied.

An officer shot Adam once in the chest after an "armed confrontation" in an alley, police said. Prosecutors say the boy was holding a gun when the officer shot him. Adam died at the scene.

There was no armed confrontation nor was he holding a gun when he was shot.

He was doing as instructed. The police simply can not refrain from lying.

The video clearly showed he ran away with a handgun when being told to stop kept running. Last second he threw the gun over a fence but in dark alley a cop isn't likely to see that. Shouldn't have run. Shouldn't have had a gun at 13.

What is a 13 y/o doing out at 2:38 AM?

Sad situation but reading about it there's more to this situation. Evidently the kid had a gun and they found it close by
He was probably out robbing and or murdering people. But of course no investigation will go into his past or any attempt to link his gun with crimes.

He pulled it out behind him in front of the cop, that’s why he was shot.

The hour is irrelevant. Why he had a gun and was running from police is what matters.

Apparently he and an “friend”, aka an accomplice, were randomly shooting at cars.

Yea, he needed to be shot.

Irrelevant to you maybe, we have a 13 yo son, no way is he running the streets at 3 AM

It doesn't matter. He wasn't shot for being out at 3am. He was shot because he was armed and running from police after firing his gun.

They believed he had the gun, as they saw it in his hand and did not see him drop it (as he clearly did so in a manner to conceal it from the officer). So no, they weren't lying. They made an error, which is understandable given the speed at which he turned and raised his arm. So saying they lied is the lie, and you just told it.

Kid was running with a gun and in a dark alley last second threw the gun over the fence.

He's not innocent.

Unedited video:

Definitely a good shoot. Cop had already drawn his weapon and was seeking a good shot to end this misery. He'd sealed his fate running with a handgun.

Difficult to see exactly when he dropped the gun. They said there was another video out there somewhere from a building or something.

There was no armed confrontation and he did not have a gun when killed. The police knew that when they made the statement.

They just had to lie.
