CDZ Ohio Town's Board of Education Wouldn't Back Up Pro-Heterosexuality Speech

This is how far we have sunk, folks. An alumnus of River Valley High School in Caledonia, Ohio, Jim McGuire, spoke at a commencement ceremony, and said >> "“Choose a spouse, I suggest,” I also strongly suggest to make sure to choose biblical principles, you know a male with a female and female with a male.”

Instead of backing McGuire's basic common sense (Bible or not) suggestion, the school administration released a statement Monday saying: “The speech was not reviewed by anyone on the River Valley Administrative team or Board of Education. Any views expressed by the speaker during his commencement speech reflected his personal beliefs. He was not speaking as an official representative of River Valley Local Schools.”

Well, that's fair enough, but considering that McGuire was giving good, sound advice to very young people, it would have been better if they would have added an affirmation, instead of a cowardly disclaimer.

This NBC news article (link) is further evidence of the looney mindset that has overtaken today's younger generation, and the need for normal adults to speak to kids, with normalcy, as Jim McGuire was admirably doing. Try not to get sick when reading this "article" >>>

Notice how there are some people here who normally not sympathetic to gay marriage issues think you're wrong on this one?

It's hard to characterize it as "hateful", but it does sound like it treated non-heterosexuals as not being real. So that's a problem. At a commencement address no one should be "eliminated". EVERYONE worked hard to graduate, not just the straight kids.

Maybe when it comes to commencement addresses people could stick with more safe topics and just try for a moment to be a decent person.

While you guys complain about the pushing of an imaginary gay agenda, this kid was pushing a very real straight agenda. You can't have it both ways.
1. There is not an "imaginary" gay agenda. As is the case in many, if not most schools nowadays, CRT filth, promoting homosexuality and tranlunacy, is being dumped on kids.

2. Jim McGuire is a senior citizen, not a "kid".

3. There is no such thing as a straight agenda. "Straight" is not an agenda. It is factual NATURE.

There is a very real gay agenda. They INSIST that they are fully human just like you and I.

I heard that kindergarten teachers are being pulled out of their mandatory gun training to go to mandatory castration classes.

No it wasnt. You were criticizing McGuire's valid criticism of CRT trash.

I honestly don't know why teachers waste their time with CRT. Teaching history is not nearly as important as improving their gun skills. We need those teachers focusing on the important stuff like being able to stop a mass shooting and handling the steel with flair.

I'm not interested in what anybody thinks. I stated my case and I stand by it. Also, the thread is waaay too early to be counting numbers.

1. Cleaning up the mess left by CRT indoctrinators, is very decent.

2. Homosexuality is a phenomenon that indeed is NOT real. It is contrary to nature, and PRETENDS that nature can be contradicted. It can't.

How do you know that? Is Solomon not a key figure in the Bible? And much beloved of God.

I know it from what he said. He simply said "a male with a female and female with a male", and he's correct.

He said nothing about Solomon, nor did he need to.

Whatever one feels about the horrors of American history it doesn't mean one has to be exclusionary against gay people.

2. Homosexuality is a phenomenon that indeed is NOT real.

That might just be the porn you are watching. A lot of that is highly staged.

Homosexuality is quite real. Imagine wanting to be something that people hate so much they wish to destroy you? Why would someone be like that if they had a choice in the matter?

It is contrary to nature, and PRETENDS that nature can be contradicted. It can't.

My wife and I don't have kids and if the urologist did his job back in 2005 we won't. Are we contradicting nature when we have "congress"?

Should we be stoned to death as well? Or are we "ok"?

I know it from what he said. He simply said "a male with a female and female with a male", and he's correct.

Well, in Solomon's case it was a male with HUNDREDS of females.

He said nothing about Solomon, nor did he need to.

Solomon was in the Bible and beloved of God so it's not a stretch to assume that this is implied.
