Moscow. March 7 - Four new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have been registered in Russia, the federal operational headquarters for the prevention of coronavirus infection in Russia reports.
Three episodes were detected in Lipetsk, one in St. Petersburg. All citizens have visited Italy in the last two weeks, all hospitalized are in infectious disease boxes.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in Russia to 14.
The remaining 10 cases are: two Chinese citizens who were diagnosed at the end of January (both discharged on February 12 with recovery), seven Russian citizens who returned from Italy (one Muscovite was discharged on March 7), and one episode of an Italian citizen who is studying at St. Petersburg Medical University for exchange.
Three more patients are not included in official statistics for Russia: these are infected Russians, who were evacuated from the liner Diamond Princess off the coast of Japan to Kazan.
