Corporate lobbying should be outlawed on both sides. Favors should be outlawed, members of congress who accept these things should be jailed. If someone lies or purposefully misconstrues their Constitutional authority to mean that they can protect special interests (Corporations, Environmentalist groups, pro life or pro choice coalitions, animal rights activists, the NAACP and et cetera) they should be tried for perjuring the electorate and the government itself.

And that is why we should cut back on the amount of money that Congress is allowed to spend. Those bills are largely designed to socialize risk, privatize profit, and restrict true competition in the free markets. Congress buys votes and lucrative post Congressional service jobs with our money.
