If it weren't for July 4, blacks would be slaves of Germans today, or not alive because their ancestors would have been killed by real honest to peter racists. If there were no July 4, there would be no allied victory in WWI or WWII. There probably wouldn't have even been a WWII. There wouldn't have been a civil war certainly. The slave states would likely still be slave colonies. Or, the colonies wouldn't have broken off in one country, but probably many small ones. North America would look much like South America. That is, if there were no July 4.
