Outlaw Political Parties?

"Outlaw Political Parties?"

You'd first need to amend the Constitution to repeal the First Amendment.

Pesky thing, that First Amendment.

Otherwise, private citizens in the context of private society are at liberty to do as they please concerning private organizations such as political parties, and form parties as they see fit; the Whig party went away absent being 'outlawed.'

True. But once elected as a "representative" of their constituents; party affiliation brings with it inherent bias. Which results in discrimination, and corruption.

Could we? Should we? How could it change things for the better? How could it change things for the worse?
If I recall correctly a number of Founding Fathers were opposed to parties and party affiliations.

What would a non- partisan government look like in these current times?

Political Parties should be abolished.

No one should have the authority to use the US treasury to BUY votes.

Righwinger and his ilk would probably be productive citizens nowadays instead of first class parasites.
