Outrageous: 94% of Feds Work From Home

Like I said, start your own business, run your own team, etc. without managers. Tell us how long you last.

The bottom line remains, just about EVERY complaint about managers not being needed comes from workers who have no idea what it takes to be a manager.
Yeah of sure. It's the people u der you that earn every last cent for the ill begotten company.

Try running a team without a manager. I've told you this several times. You have to have somebody skilled at organizing and setting expectations. Without that, the team is just thrashing around.

Maybe the irony here is that based on Trumps first term, he spent 4 hours a day "working from home".
A president is never not working. You should know that. Now, if he's sleeping on a beach somewhere...

Ok I will give you that. But you should be calling for raises for your team all the time.

Sure, the ones that deserve a raise. You know, the ones that put in extra hours, extra effort, work smarter and get more done, the ones that express a positive attitude on the job, not the complainers constantly taking time off, complaining about the job and badmouthing the boss.

Of course, kind of obvious. You would think, however, that some apparently believe the management class to be worthless, based on their insipid posts.

Really depends on what type of managers they are.

Good managers make your job easier, help you resolve problems, give guidance on issues you can’t resolve.
Give you credit when due

Chicken shit managers are more concerned with the timeclock and take all the credit while passing blame to employees

Extra hours means extra pay...always...

The best people? LOL. Is that why they couldn’t even develop a website in four years, and when they launched, it didn’t even work?

Stop flattering yourself. There are PLENTY of govt workers who couldn’t keep a job in the private industry. There used to be a saying that government was the employer of last resort.
Those were not government employees! Those jobs were contracted out. The US government does not employ programmers.

I think that is just another example of what you think is true that is not.

Then it's the responsibility of DOGE to include those Hybrid workers and cut the waste.
First thing, On January 22, 2025 all Federal workers are required to appear at their assigned Federal buildings and desks. They must also be prepared to work overtime.
Where did you dig this up? I know nothing of this, because it sounds like fake news. Union workers have rights regarding overtime in their contracts.

NY State employees work from home...in Florida. It's not called a no show job for nothing.

In related news showing NY is far more corrupt, guy got a sweetheart NY State appointee director job he was in no way qualified for...from his high ranking state legislator brother. Boo hoo his NY provided office at the capital was 30 minutes away and he didn't want to drive...so his high ranking brother 'rented' him an office a few minutes from his house for $50k a year in taxpayer money...the 'office rental' was owned by his brothers next door neighbor.
That's NY's problem. Irrelevant.
