Palestinian detainees demand prisoner of war status Updated) 04/17/2013 13 BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Palestinian detainees have written to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu demanding to be recognized as prisoners of war within 45 days. If the demand is not met, prisoners will escalate steps and to achieve prisoner of war status by any means necessary, the letter said. Under international law, Palestinian detainees have a right to be recognized as prisoners of war. " The demand was made in light of Palestine's admission to the United Nations as a non-member state.* http://www.maannews.net/eng/ViewDetails.aspx?ID=586326

bad way to plead your cas(es) if you wanna be sprung. sounds like a threat(s) of violence will occur. sorry, i wouldn't let your scraggly ass(es) out of jail now.

"Palestinian detainees have written to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu demanding to be recognized as prisoners of war within 45 days."

so, all of them wrote letters ? i wonder if they wrote these letters in english, hebrew or arabic ? i wonder how many letters netanyahu received ? these detainees mon sherri, what crimes did they commit ?

But as a show of good faith, Netanyahu should read these letters (if they exist)...and review each prisoners' case. 1 at a time.

"prisoners will escalate steps and to achieve prisoner of war status by any means necessary..."

Gee, maybe they can be treated the same way the Prisoners of War were treated by the Japanese during World War II. Perhaps they had watched the T.V. series Stalag 17 and think being a Prisoner of War will be a walk in he park for them.

the gazans INSISTED that SHALIT was a "PRISONER OF WAR" and they
set the standard for treatment thereof.--------no contact----no medical care---
not divulgence of location---No red cross
