Now that picnic/BBQ season is in full gear, what pasta salads do you make? These are the two that I use:
Lana is not at all possessive about that macaroni salad.
and Antipasto Pasta Salad
Macaroni salad is one of those things that sound good in practice.
But it in reality they always suck.
I actually just finished one off I bought at Walmart that was actually pretty good.
Can't say I've ever had a good one.
Most of them do suck. My kid loved the first one and wanted me to make that up until he had that antipasto one. It is excellent. I make that up through step 2 over night and then put the rest together.Macaroni salad is one of those things that sound good in practice.

The Wife even fools Herself when it comes to pasta salad when she finds a new recipe.
She always insists this will be the one!!!.....before making it and then throwing it in the trash.

a dash of italian dressing
dash of balsamic vinegar
mozzarella. I buy those mozzarella curds from walmart that are soaked in some sort of juice idk lol but i add that too.
HA! Now that i type this is out it sounds like a spruced up caprice salad
but its so good!

What does your 3 bean salad have in it? I'm really picky when it comes to that.not a pasta fan...sits in yer belly too long.\

Cole Slaw--NO SUGAR--dab of horse radish

And believe me,as much as the Wife tries I figure if there was a good one she'd have gotten lucky by now.
Garbanzos, Kidney, Cannellini, sometimes limas...celery, parsely, apple cider vinegar, lime juice, thai chilis for spice, a pinch of chopped cilantro...no sugar...What does your 3 bean salad have in it? I'm really picky when it comes to that.

Moist, but not wet is the goal.
A lot of Americans love putting sugar in things but I prefer, tart, acidic, spicey flavors.
