There was a time when the news was viewed as a public service. The facts were presented.

Now news is big business. And when do we watch the news? When we are happy and confident? Or when we are scared or pissed off?

So it is in the news media's best interest to keep us either scared or pissed off. Look at the news ratings on 9/11/01 and the days that followed. They were off the charts.

The news has become sensationalism, gossip, and influence pedaling. Like when they fooled the whole country into following Shrub in the invasion of Iraq. They didn't give a damn about the facts. Conclusive proof, the media is the FALSE PROPHET.
