Every life is as important as another. When you do something that saves even one life you should just go ahead and do it. If something as simple as universal gun registration saves even one life then you should do it. In Colorado for 2016, 127 convicted violent felons were denied purchasing weapons. Since that was a violation of their parole, they were sent back to prison. That got 127 known violent people off the streets. Now, I realize that we will never know how many lives that actually saved but I can bet a hat that it was at least one life saved.

Every life is as important as another?

Where did you pull this from? Your life is not half as important as most people here. In some cases lives even have negative value, such as in the case when a country is being invaded and a war emerges over it. And when that war emerges our side better be armed to the teeth.

But your chance of dying from other means is much greater.

When I put my life on the line to protect your life. Every life is as important as every other life in America. It's not up to me to determine who has only a half life, who's life is more than one, who's life isn't worth less, who's life is worth more. There are those of us that have protected lives through out actions. Your life is as important as every other life. If you don't think your life is worth as much, just end your life. I am sure someone, someplace out there will mourn for you and prove you wrong.

Your ability to avoid a point is astounding.
In the end, that IS the point. There is nothing else.
Nope. It's not. In fact, its not even close.
But, as you chose to avoid the point, you must understand this.
Whatever, cupcake.
I accept your concession.
When you think you can address the point, let us know.

Since 38,659 people died in car accidents in 2017, if we banned all vehicles, saving one life would be worth it...according to you....

Until the government decides to commit mass murder...with their guns.....considering that the governments of Europe surrendered millions of their citizens to socialist mass murder from 1917 to the mid 1940s, dwarfing the entire number of people killed by criminals with guns....

gun control kills more people than criminals with guns do.
